Anilao Awari Bay

I was here in 2023, my tourists requested this Resort for their diving experience. The resort is beautifully located in the beachfront, not good employees to operate such beach resort, especially the receptionists. The instructors want me to learn as fast as I will but I can't coz of how he teaches and give instructions. They didn't do a job well done. I didn't get much of the needed space for my tourists, they didn't accommodate me, a room to place our things and. Comfortable room for a day, an air-conditioned room. Aside from a very expensive entrance fee, diving cost and food. It was like I am not welcome to be there and bring my tourists to enjoy the beach and their resort facilities. I paid too much and as a tour guide I didn't have the privilege as a tour guide giving clients to the resort for accommodating. We waited long before we got started, we stayed outside in a very hot ambiance showing our bags and stuff cluttered outside. It's as beautiful as the resort and beach but it's as bad as the management operating the beach resort. There's no welcoming snacks, only drinks. It's like it's not what you think you know and it's not what you know, you see. Good thing that my tourists are very friendly and have a good heart but I felt I got ripped off. I didn't get what I paid for. Poor management, this is only for vacation homes not for tourists.

We discovered this resort by chance after our original booking got canceled at the last minute but we’re actually glad it happened, because we ended up at this amazing place! Despite it being a weekend, they were kind enough to accommodate us as walk-in guests. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I forgot the name of the male staff member who assisted us, but he truly deserves recognition for being so patient and helpful with all our questions. The location is also perfect for snorkeling. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

My friend chose AAB because the first resort she chose had a power outage. It was a blessing in disguise as AAB was an amazing find, with understated elegance in its architectural and landscape design! All of the staff from front desk, housekeeping, food service, pool and snorkeling were always warm, helpful and attentive to all of our needs! As there are no restaurants in the area, it was wonderful that the quality of the food served at the resort was excellent! Highly recommend this resort!

We had a wonderful time at Anilao Awari. I booked a room for myself and my boyfriend, and another one for my family. The staff were all very friendly, warm, and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Visiting on a weekday turned out to be perfect—it wasn’t crowded, so we were able to fully enjoy the place to ourselves. One of the highlights of our trip was the boat ride to Sumbrero Island. The water was crystal clear, and the peaceful atmosphere made it such a memorable experience. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the restrooms. I hope they can be better maintained, especially the ones inside the rooms. Also, the public shower near the pool had an unpleasant smell that could use some attention. Overall, it was an amazing and relaxing getaway. We’re happy we chose to stay here!

We got lucky to get 2 triple sharing rooms at such short notice. The 3 hour drive from Manila was worth it! This resort has very friendly and efficient staff except that their room phones were not working properly so it took some time before we could get attended for room service. Nonetheless it’s also senior and PWD friendly since they have golf carts to transport guests and luggages to the hillside suites. The food was also great. The beachfront reef for snorkeling was also wide and safe. The place was clean and so are the rooms. They have adequate diving and snorkeling equipments. They have day trip rates and night trip rates too! Will definitely return and recommend! Check it out!
