Anahaw Marine Beach Retreat

This is a beautiful retreat spot along the coast. It’s not your traditional white sand beach - but that made it more fun in some ways. The coral and rocks are a bit hard to navigate, but the water is so warm and usually quite clear. You can also find good patches of clear sand between the coral that create fun little swimming pools. At high tide and after a storm there’s some rubbish that comes through, but the caretakers do their best to clean it up. And it is one of the cleanest beach spots I’ve seen on Luzon within a few hours of Manila. The house itself is beautiful, simple but modern. All the facilities one would need. The pool is clean and regularly maintained. The caretakers are wonderful at helping with whatever you need. All around a wonderful place to stay for a nice beachside retreat.
