La Virginia Resort is a massive, activity-filled getaway with stunning views of Taal Lake and plenty of pools, themed areas, and outdoor challenges—making it ideal for families, barkadas, and team outings. That said, be prepared for steep terrain, booking inconsistencies, limited staff capacity during busy periods, and extra charges that can add up quickly. The rustic charm and adventurous vibe are its biggest draws, but plan ahead and manage expectations around logistics and service.
We went here to celebrate my husband birthday! Its 20 of us, we didnt enjoy that much coz it rains from the time we went until we check out. But everything was good. They also help us with everything. Nakakapagod lang talaga masyadong matarik ung daan.
Celebrated my 18th bday here, and it was absolutely unforgettable. Thank you so much, La virginia. everything about this place was perfect, just like the beautiful surroundings, it truly exceeded my expectations. And if you're planning a special occasion too, then it's definitely worth it – I highly recommend visiting la virginia. 🥰💞
It was a nice public resort for all occassions with a great view of nature looking at Taal Volcano, its mountains around covered by the lake. I may say that this resort will give memorable moments for visitors especially for kids that loves pool with slide. For sure that it takes a lot of effort and might need more energy goin up & down your things because of its steep place especially when you don't have vehicle for your transportation needs. Also, it might need renovations and upgrade bedrooms, its shower room and toilets.
The view is great but the venue is a bit rundown and dirty. Trash is left in the side and there are dogs running about sniffing food.
The place. Going to it is manageable. The place itself is steep and needs a strong engine of a car to go around. The view is awesome tho as it overlooks the taal lake.
PS. Generally not recommended unless they tidy up the place.
