Kilyawan Farm Resort is one of the few destinations I've been to recently that I really think is worth visiting. It's just an hour and a half drive from our place. Not too far from urban Manila and very easy to go to, but also not too close that you won't feel like you're on a real holiday.
What really stood out to me was how quiet and peaceful it is there. I felt incredibly relaxed. Believe me when I say that visiting the place will really take all your stress away. The food is awesome, too! And the staff members are so kind and courteous.
For anyone looking to unwind even more, you can even get a massage there. They also have Wi-Fi for rent, so you can stay connected if you need to.
One of the most unforgettable parts of our trip was the farm tour. Our family absolutely loved it – we got to see pigs, chickens, and goats, and the best part was doing the whole tour riding the tractor. It was such a unique and fun experience that we'll definitely remember.
It's truly a place worth visiting!
We spent a night here at the farm, Black Saturday until Easter Sunday. The staff were friendly, the service and farm tour were superb. The master villa and en suite bathroom were very spacious and we loved how peaceful it was during our stay.
The only thing that we want to comment on and hopefully will be further improved is their food/menu. The variety of selection was okay, but the TASTE and SERVING size could be further improved to make these worth the penny. Also, I would like to suggest for them to to include the serving size or "good for ___ pax" in their menu for the customers' reference. For context, we ordered/payed food for lunch and dinner, (breakfast is already included in the room rate) we had a total bill of ~7k and we didn't like most of the food that were served, I only liked the iced kapeng barako and tablea champorado paired with dilis.
Overall, our family had a pleasant stay here at the farm. We hope to go back here some time in the future and we look forward to try their improved menu. :)
We only dined in at Courtyard Restaurant and the facility looks very nice, the architecture and design is exceptional. No too many clutters at all like trash or undisturbed messy parts around the buildings. My only concern was when I went to the restroom. It was not bad but the fixtures like the metal/chrome parts of the lavatories are aging already which are rusted already. They are clean but the rusted parts are making the restroom dirty and outdated. Management can do something without spending too much money for the cost of repair or replacement. Please do some maintenance at least every 6 months. I think the way staff are cleaning makes those parts to tarnish or maybe needs some updating.
The staff are all very friendly, nice and professional. Kudos! The location is serene and relaxing. Well maintained facilities. The farm tour is a nice addition. The kids loved interacting with the animals. Food is alsogood for its price.
Travel is relatively smooth since it is 10mins away from the Ibaan exit of Startollway.
My family and friends stayed for 3D2N at Kilyawan Farm Resort. It was a wonderful experience:
---
**PROS:**
✅ Farm experience with a touch of luxury:
* Comfy queen bed, super soft pillows
* Huge bathroom with Japanese-style bidet
*With AC and ceiling fan
*Lots of natural light inside the cabin
*Free breakfast, even for the kids
*Super bango ng shampoo and body wash nila
✅ Exceptional service:
* The staff were very welcoming and always smiling
* They helped us carry our luggage
✅ Farm tour (included in our stay):
* Tractor experience
* Feeding the rabbits, pigs, and chickens
* Free 1 tray of eggs per group
---
**CONS:**
❌ Since we opted to have our cabins beside each other, we could hear the kids crying
❌ Many insects (syempre farm, so expected na)
❌ Pricey food
---
Here are my food recommendations that we think are worth it:
*Note: Prices are really expensive in my opinion, considering the quantity of food they serve. However, they make sure that most ingredients are sourced from the farm (organic).
---
Breakfast:
📍Beef Tapa – 5/5⭐ – This is good considering the amount of food. Definitely worth it.
📍Tinapang Bangus – 5/5⭐– Another winner. You might even ask for more rice.
📍Continental – 5/5⭐ – I like this one, especially the mango jam with butter and the crispy bacon. Yummy!
📍Champorado – 5/5⭐ – OMG OMG. The kids loved this!
📍Longganisa – 3/5⭐ – You can skip this one. Nothing special.
---
Drinks for Breakfast:
📍Tablea – 5/5⭐ – Suppeeerr SARAP!!!! Majority of their produce is cacao, kaya ang sarap talaga
📍Calamansi Juice – 3/5⭐– It was okay.
📍Fresh Tarragon Tea – 4/5⭐ – Super refreshing, and I liked this one.
We did not order their kapeng barako because they have unlimited coffee inside the cabin.
---
Lunch/Dinner:
📍Inihaw na Liempo – 5/5⭐– A simple grilled pork belly. Gave 5 stars because of the huge serving.
📍Sisig – 3/5⭐– Their version is crunchy and good for 2 pax.
📍Chicken Inasal – 3/5⭐ – 4 pieces of grilled chicken. It was okay, nothing special, but can feed 3 pax.
📍Pork BBQ – 4/5⭐ – The kids loved this. Sweet-style BBQ, a bit skinny, only 5 skewers.
📍Sinigang na Hipon – 5/5⭐– A really good sinigang. Perfectly sour (not from a sinigang mix). Soo good.
📍Vegetable Kare-Kare – 5/5⭐ – Another winner!!! Their peanut sauce and bagoong—soo good. Just sad it's only good for 2 pax
📍Tulingan sa Gata – 2/5⭐– This was a letdown. Not because it wasn't good, but it only had 1 piece of tulingan considering it’s a ₱320 dish.
📍Laing – 3/5⭐ – It was okay. We always go to Bicol, so we know what a good laing tastes like.
📍Bolognese and Herb Pesto Pasta – 5/5⭐ – This is really good. Decent serving size, good for 2–3 pax. One of our favourites 🤗

Overall, the accommodation and the farm experience were really top-notch. We had a comfortable and wonderful stay. My only issue was the food portions—it could have been better considering the prices are a bit steep.
We paid around ₱45,000+ for everything: 4 adults + 3 toddlers + 1 kid.
