Lago de Oro Hotel & Cable Ski Park

Resort is nice. We stayed at family room overlooking the wakepark. There’s after party at 6pm. ₱500 whole day to play wake boarding. Separate area for pro and beginners.

NEW Rooms were nice. They have older rooms that seem like they werent renovated since the early 2000s. Service was quite so-so. Asked for extra towels, pillows, and tissue since our room had 5 girls (room only provided for two), but never received any of the listed things. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

overall a great experience, but I wish they sold more swimming gear such as water shoes, sunblock, stuff like that. also, the water could use a bit of cleaning as there is so much debris and small things floating around. they have a nightly performance from different bands and singers. many people come to wakeboard or use it as a stop over for tourists to eat. the swimming pool is small but clean-looking. we went on july 12-14, 2025. the water was warm, but there's some rocky areas so remember to bring your watershoes. we had no jelly fish, sea urchin, or sea snakes encounter. no visible corals, the water was a murky brown and you can't see the bottom because of the silt from the sand and dead corals. the waves are big but slow, we didn't dare to venture beyond the danger sign so idk if the water beyond that ok to swim in. either way it's good enough, but it could've been better if the water was clearer and less barren.

We loved our stay here last week! Staff is super helpful and friendly. From the reception, the restaurant , room service, and ski instructors! Kudos to everyone’s work attitude. ❤️ Food in restaurant is also good! worth the price + generous serving. We stayed at the standard room because we have a pet with us, the tv only offers 1 channel though. I hope fur babies get to stay in the premium rooms too. Overall, we’d love to come back soon ❤️ thank you for a wonderful experience :)
