a month ago" a surprising package here....but food menu needs an upgrade " Grand risings everyone , I hope your well , so , I thought I'd give this one a go as it's been on the list to review and I must admit , I'm actually quite pleasantly surprised. While at first glance , it doesn't really give off a luxury vibe , I was quite shocked at the price for the rooms. Considering that quite a few resorts I've come across , on the beach front , range from 7,000 - nearly 20,000 per night , this little gem comes in at 3000 per room , 3'500 for a balcony and 4,000 for the ultimate suite. The rooms themselves for the price , is not actually too far off the other resorts that are double / triple of there price. The fact that there's a great view of the beach is also a plus for me, there is a small bar area , with probably the smallest of food menus I think I've come across at any resort tho. So if your looking for the greatest cuisine on the planet , this is certainly not going to tick that box. I think This caters for a varied range of people , from solo to couple to potentially families , however , I'm not to sure there is much entertainment for the little ones , so just bare that in mind. As for the location , it's decent , it's in corong and corong so plenty of other restaurants and shops around and the resort isn't that far from the main town, perhaps a 15 minute walk , or 5 minute tricycle. If your on a budget and want a beach view , with a pretty decent room, with restaurants and shops close by , vanilla beach 15/20 mins walk one way and the main town 15/20 mins walk the other way and don't mind going else where for food , then i recommend. Photos will be added shortly. Have a good evening people. God bless ✝️ ♥️

a month agoThe staff are amazing and are what make this place great. Rooms vary considerably. Our room was void of decoration. Just a sheet on the bed with no blanket. Other rooms were better decorated. The resort was built some time ago and no money has been invested for upkeep since. Huge shout out to all the staff. We were there during typhoon Tino and they ensured our safety and comfort

7 months agoIt may be cheaper than others but don’t stay here. The rooms are old we arrived at 6pm and our room wasn’t even ready. Our friend complained as there were ants in his bed and all in his room but the staff didn’t seem too bothered about this. It is not close to the main strip and would need transport to get there. I asked for orange juice for the breakfast and was told that it’s not included which left water or coffee. Avoid

11 months agoWe booked 4 nights in 2 x superior rooms but only stayed for 2 nights..rooms 17 and 18. Our rooms were truly awful. Mould in the shower room, shower temperature that could not be adjusted, mildew on stained pillows, hair / dirt throughout the rooms, stained towels etc. The maintenance etc was very, very poor. Having lived in Asia for 20+ years, this is one of the worst rooms I have ever had. Please note, this refers to the superior room. We met an elderly American lady who said her room ( deluxe room?) was superb. There seems to be a huge disparity between the different levels of room. The general disrepair of the common areas speaks to a lack of maintenance though. The location and staff were great. I would absolutely not recommend a superior room here.

9 months agoOur stay in the family room was deeply disappointing. The room was extremely outdated and unkempt. The beds were: happy that u didn’t get herpes, the air conditioning ancient and noisy, and the couch dirty and unusable. The fridge didn’t work and had mold, and the bathroom was so old and poorly maintained that we felt worse after showering. In a nutshell: ok to survive! We were so disappointed that we even looked for flights to leave early. The only positive was the reception staff — friendly and professional. Sadly, their efforts couldn’t make up for the room’s terrible condition. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
