a week agoPangulasian Island embodies a level of quiet luxury that speaks for itself. From the moment you arrive, there is an immediate sense of calm—clear waters, gentle air, and an atmosphere that feels naturally refined. The villas offer generous space, privacy, and a seamless connection to nature, creating an environment that feels both exclusive and effortless. What elevates the experience to something truly memorable is the staff. Their warmth is subtle, their professionalism is instinctive, and their comfort in what they do brings a level of ease you rarely find. Nothing is overstated. Nothing is performed. Pangulasian is not simply a place to stay— it is a quiet, elegant escape shaped by people who understand the art of refined hospitality. Thank you for such a truly exceptional experience.

a month agoI don’t even know where to begin to describe my experience at The Pengulasian in El Nido. It was truly unforgettable! The hotel staff, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, the tour guides, and management, were all incredibly attentive, making our stay absolutely remarkable. We stayed in a beach view room that was perfect! Just steps from the water, and I could easily float over some beautiful corals. I spotted fish of all shapes, sizes, and colors, including a baby blacktip shark that was no more than 2 feet long, and even baby stingrays swimming by! The restaurant was another highlight. The chef was amazing (shoutout to chef Excer), catering to every desire, whether it was on the menu or not. Breakfast was fantastic—you can literally order whatever your heart desires! The waitstaff (thank you Jhan, Jasper)was respectful and super helpful, making every meal a joy. We enjoyed multiple excursions, some complimentary and others private, and each one was more exciting than the last. We visited Little Lagoon, where we had the place to ourselves, and Secret Beach, which was an adventure to access. At the sister hotel, we snorkeled and fed fish, and even had a giant turtle swim by us! Snake Island was a highlight as well, with its stunning views from the hike up the island. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Eric, who was extremely knowledgeable, adventurous, warm, and genuinely fun to hang out with. He truly felt like a brother throughout our adventures! I also want to thank Mr. Younis, the director of food and beverages, who greeted us early every morning and even woke up at 5 AM to ensure we made our flight. His friendliness and attention to detail made a huge difference. He is loved by everyone, the staff and hotel guests alike. The cleaning staff were fantastic, always keeping our room spotless and ensuring we had everything we needed. The activities staff also organized some of the coolest getaways, making our stay even more enjoyable. We indulged in a massage at the hotel, which was delightful, and our beach dinner was one of the most magical experiences I’ve ever had. They set everything up beautifully and delivered our meals fresh from the kitchen. I genuinely can’t say enough good things about The Pangulasian. It’s a hidden gem—classy, fancy, and romantic. Every person I encountered made me feel like family, and I truly appreciate all the love and care they put into making our stay special. I can’t wait to return!

a week agoThe price is a bit steep, but, you get: 1. a stress-free and seamless experience from airport arrival to check-out; the staff is also excellent 2. Lots of varied activities (included in the rate) to keep one's beach vacation exciting. On top of that, you can also book diving and bird-watching activities. FYI in the Pangalusian island, you can see some Palawan hornbills at around 630-7am at the top of the trees near the pool. 3. The food is good and will not get boring (unless you are staying more than a week). 4. They also have a lovely house reef to explore We were supposed to stay at Miniloc but that was cancelled due to a huge typhoon - El Nido resorts kindly organized our transfer to Pangalusian, great job overall from the el nido resorts team. 👍
Wow
a month agoOver the top resort in Palawan, Philippines. This place is a real-life picture postcard. Our resort package included a luxurious beachfront bungalow, very good food and island hopping to absolutely stunning beaches and lagoons. I also enjoyed my visit to Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park: This is one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature
