a month agoDespite the previous review giving us bed bug anxiety we found that whilst they could’ve been remnants of it, we slept fairly well. No bites so perhaps previous reviews got unlucky with an infested room. The breakfast was average at best. They need to wipe the tables after cleaning up. Most of the time the food trays were empty. The plus side is the pool. Just awesome and the views if you get a good day it be amazing. Rooms were clean but could use new towels and linen. Out of town but not hard to get a trike to town for 100 pesos. We did find it strange that at breakfast anyone could walk in. We saw some backpacker couriering food in a take away container to outside the hotel. She did it multiple times. First it was a take away box, a brown paper bag and then sausages on a napkin. What i didnt like was she grabbed the food onto her box and return it back on the food tray.

a month agoThe rooms & bathrooms are VERY, RIDICULOUSLY small but the views are BREATHTAKING. We can see several islands and cliffs around El Nido. However, if you want fast, reliable internet, this hotel is the worst place to stay in el nido. WiFi keeps going on and off and they lie to you saying it’s a nationwide issue but the mobile data works perfect fine. Another terrible thing: APPARENTLY, YOU CANNOT TOOTHBRUSH WITH THE TAPWATER HERE! I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous thing in my life in any hotel. Additionally, Despite telling them countless times, they continue repeating the same lie. The wifi works for 10 minutes, then goes off for 10 minutes. Not good. The location isn’t that bad, it’s 1.5km from La cabana beach/Zipline and 10-15min tuk tuk ride to el nido town proper. There’s a massage & small cafe place right in front of the hotel which is nice. Now the best part of the hotel along with the breathtaking view & infinity pool is the BED. By far the most comfortable bed & pillow in the Philippines, this gave me an amazing sleep. Apart from terrible WiFi, small rooms and avg location, this hotel is worth it.

a month agoThe hotel is newly built but unfortunately not well-maintained. The rooms and facilities appear overused, possibly due to the high turnover of guests. Management should pay closer attention to maintenance because the location and the view from the hotel are truly stunning. The breakfast area and selection could be improved, and the hallways have a noticeable fishy smell that needs to be addressed. On a positive note, the staff are amazing — very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. With better upkeep, this hotel could easily live up to its beautiful setting.

a month agoWe were slightly nervous about staying here as there are a few bad reviews on here and I have to say whoever wrote those needs to take a long hard look at themselves. This is the phillipines not the the Hilton.... The staff are INCREDIBLE! We stayed here during typhoon tino and they continued to work every day making sure the restaurants and bars stayed open. This was one of the only resorts that kept power throughout the typhoon (few short blackouts). Thank you!!! The food menu and buffet breakfast was excellent every morning with lots of options both traditional and western. Certainly not the best food I've ever had but very far from bad. The rooms aren't in perfect condition but they are also very far from bad and not worth complaining about. The real reason you should stay here is the stunning few and pool. Best in el Nido for sure and well worth any other minor inconveniences.

2 months agoThe hotel has an amazing infinity pool perfect for morning dips and sunset watching. All the staff were amazing. They were always helpful and friendly and they responded quickly to our requests. I would like to commend the security guards and the manager, Yvette for being very helpful and proactive when a van hit our car and ran off while it was parked in the hotel parking lot. They really made sure the incident didn’t ruin our wonderful stay in El Nido.
