2 weeks agoNo value at all for money! Avoid this at all costs, you can find much better than this (we did) at less than half the price. We spent one day in another 4 stars hotel in El Nido paying even a bit less than this but 10 times better. Here (infortunately) we booked for four nights and regretted from the day we arrived. You have a nice view but the beach is dirty and not cleaned. Location is isolated, room is old style and staff is not experienced. On top of that breakfast which was included in our booking is very minimal and when asked for some bread with my eggs and bacon they told me that there will be extra charge. Never seen that even in hostels when I was younger. There are some stains in the room, no much toiletries. Everything is quite basic and not even a 3 stars in our opinion. Room is also noisy.

3 weeks agoThe hotel pickup is up from the airport. The trip to the hotel was quite windy and staff was really nice. Upon arriving, they gave us a cool towel and homemade lemonade, another plus. The beach is our backyard, they have small pool.

8 months agoWe had an amazing stay in Frangipani! The room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfy. It was spacious and cool and was cleaned every day. The access to the beach was amazing and they have paddle boards you can use free of charge. Watching the sunset on an evening was perfect from the beach or the bar. The views from the bar make this place a hidden gem and can’t be beaten! The staff were so lovely and always happy to help- even making us sandwiches for our flight home. The food was delicious and there was lots of choice on the menu. The complimentary breakfast had around 10 different choices- all very good. We couldn’t fault this place in the slightest and would 100% recommend!

5 months agoI had dinner with my family at Frangipani as my husband had seen good reviews of the restaurant and hotel. The food we ordered were great until the grilled chicken my son was eating turned out to be raw inside. We sent the rest of the chicken back ,it really ruined the night for me as that could cause food poisoning! The service from the waiter is the saving grace from that night. When we left, the chef was just stood there looking at us. No apologies. I am sure the staff who cleared the table saw the food is raw as we left it out on the table. As for the chef, you were careless and you served food that was not safe to eat! For the prices they charge that was not the standard you expect!
