Caalan Beach Resort

Remember this place from our trip to palawan the most (stayed at 3 different places here, amakan () and a rent house in puerto princessa ). Took my fam of 5 along with 7 of my family members from the Philippines. Great hospitality and service. The rooms were ok, and could use an update, however the service made it better . The tour was wonderful. The only mishap was when I tried to set up a kamayan dinner for my fam and someone didn't communicate with the rest of the staff so they were not aware, but they pulled off whatever was possible last minute and it was enjoyable. I really would say the best part was the service and family like atmosphere. The owner john was wonderful along with most of his staff and tried their best to cater to my family. The tour was awesome and we had the boat to ourselves and the food during the trip was phenomenal.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by John (owner) and Jay his assistant. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible especially having 24 people in our group (we appreciate this). We had four great evening here which obviously added up to the experience. The only issues we had includes bug bites, lack of transport in the resort and plumbing issue. Overall I would recommend this place and the tour experience was great. It was the best one.

This Hotel is Amazing in every way! My fiance, sister her husband and I stayed her for 4 nights 3 days. Their rates are amazing, and the owner is super knowledgeable. He gave us an orientation when we got there and gave us valuable information when we went on our tour. Yes they have their own tour! And I recommend booking it with the Hotel it's self. The hotel is a 5 to 7 min motor taxi drive from town, which is super awesome because it's so peaceful at night. And they have taxi available for you! The tour guide was super! The lunch was great, and the hotel was very accommodating with my sister's and her husbands dietary needs. We're defiantly going to stay here again when we go back! Thank you for giving us an amazing time at El Nido!

When we arrived John gave us a warm welcome and provided a rundown of the resort. His staff is friendly, and he has tricycle drivers that take you to and from town at no charge up until 10pm. We stayed in seaside room 1 & the view from our porch was beautiful. He had an extra bed ready for my 3 year old which was great. The WiFi was fast and the breakfast was good! They also have their own boat for tours, we took tour A and it was beautiful! I recommend booking a boat tour with them directly instead of with a company in town, since the boat is located right in front of the resort. After the boat tour I had a slight sunburn, so John personally dropped off aloe from their garden to me! Definitely staying here again next time we visit El Nido!! :-)

Amazing location with a nice view and amazing service. Their boat tours were awesome and the staff is really nice. Free rides to/from el nido town any time of the day. Breakfast was good and lunch on the boat was great. They also provide snorkelling gear and even beach shoes for all guests. Best thing was freshly prepared latte/cappuccino every morning, and the homemade banana cake after the boat tours. Totally value for money.
