Katungkulan Beach: A Hidden Gem for Riders on the Move
If you're cruising from Tagaytay or Batangas and need a scenic breather, Katungkulan Beach is a perfect stopover. Nestled within the Marine Base in Ternate, Cavite, this beach offers a refreshing pause with its calm waters, clean shoreline, and peaceful vibe. The ride in itself is part of the charm—winding roads, lush greenery, and that satisfying sense of arrival when you finally hear the waves.
Whether you're stretching your legs, grabbing a quick bite, or just soaking in the view before heading back on the road, Katungkulan delivers. It’s not flashy, but it’s honest—just sand, sea, and serenity. A great reminder that sometimes, the best detours are the quiet ones.
It's an military base. Don't expect much with regards to facilities. Cottages available for rent 500 each. Entrance is 150 pax, children 3yrs & below and senior citizens are free. Me shower area (dugyot nga lang). Maganda ang beach area, white sands. Mababaw din ang dagat kahit 5 meters off the beach abot pa ng paa. Sand and boulders under water. Use diving shoes for safety. Ok lang yapak kung mga 3 meters from the shore la lang, sandy bottom lang.
Come early, there is a limit in number of guest per day (to avoid over crowding.
Prohibits video picture taking upon entry of the main gate, for security reasons. Picture taking allowed only on the beach.
Bawal sa Marte, dapat cowboy ka. 👍
Beach is Nice and Friendly waves..looks so amaze of the fine sand and not crowded. Need to bring your belongs to the cottage of your choice. Location quite far from Pasay it took about 2 hrs due to traffic along the way passing Bacoor..Kawit.. Rosario..Tanza..Naic.. Maragondon then Ternate but the experience was OK.. from Main Highway entering Puerto Azul Main Gate to the location is about 7-8km. Travel.
