Villa Excellance Beach And Wave Pool Resort

Resort: Overall, the resort is well-kept and perfect for families or squads. Amenities are thoughtful, and everything’s clean and organized. The grocery store and milk tea spot are amazing! I just hope they make the grocery store bigger and add more restaurants or a bazaar in the future. Breakfast Buffet: The buffet staff were very kind and went out of their way to make sure we could still enjoy breakfast even though we arrived a bit late. The buffet itself is excellent, with lots of delicious, freshly prepared options. Indeed, an excellent service from exceptional staff! Front Desk: Checked in around 11 PM, and my mom, who had just driven us to drop us off, asked to use the toilet in our room. The front desk said she could only stay 5 mins since she wasn’t a guest super rude and unnecessarily strict. It’s not like she was staying the night or plan to stay for hours. It only took her 20 mins to finish her business in our room’s toilet. Luckily, the next day, receptionist Bea made up for it. She was kind, helpful, and professional. The first receptionist could take notes from her. Rooms and Villas: • Standard Room (Beach Cottage) – Beach Front: Feels cramped for couples; a twin bed would fit better. Best for 1 person. • Standard Villa – Pool View: Amazing, spacious, super clean, modern, and the pool view completes the vibe. Smoking Areas: They need to improve this because it’s a total turn off! Smoking from my room required a long walk. The resort should have WAY MORE designated smoking spots, both inside and outside the resort, with benches and covers so guests are comfortable in rain or strong sun. Safety and Security: The resort’s safety measures are well established. Security guards are vigilant and most of them are kind and respectful, creating a reassuring environment. In conclusion, I would not recommend this resort to Western tourists unless the management eases its strict rules. The current policies feel overly rigid and make the stay uncomfortable. It just ain’t for us Westerners!

Great Stay, But Major Booking Issue to Note ​We had a good experience and would definitely return, largely due to the hotel's pleasant atmosphere and exceptional staff. ​On the downside, we booked a more expensive room (Room 231) specifically for its location overlooking the kiddie pool for our toddler. Unfortunately, we were not informed prior to arrival that the pool was under renovation and the view would be blocked. This completely negated the value of the premium room we paid for. When we requested a room change, we were told the rooms were fully booked. Future guests should be warned about any such closures before finalizing their reservation. ​On a positive note, the staff were pleasant, accommodating, and well-trained. The general pool areas were clean and well-maintained, with a sufficient number of lifeguards on duty (though the chlorine was quite strong in some pools). ​The Octoberfest event was a highlight. The hosts were engaging, the band was excellent, and the games were fun. They finished off the event with fireworks display too! It would be great if an unlimited drinks option was offered for the event (we weren't clear if this was already available).

I first came to this resort with my girlfriend way back 2014 I think, their pool area is still under construction. Then last August 17, we came back and celebrated my wife's (same girl) birthday, with our +1 super energetic little boy. We're so amazed into what Villa Excellance has grown through out the years from the first time we visited this resort. And I can definitely say that we enjoyed the moment we stayed here, from the spacious parking area, very attentive and helpful crews, the majestic pools especially the wave pool which our little one has been eyeing out the whole time, and the cozy room with a delicious breakfast buffet. We would surely be getting back to this wondrous place, with or without any occasion. And I'm so glad that I picked booking a stay here over some resort in the South.

I went here with my family for a weekend getaway and it was such a fun experience! The wave pool was my favorite, the waves were just the right strength to enjoy without being overwhelming. The other pools were also well-maintained and perfect for kids and adults alike. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the pool area. The aircon worked well and the bed was comfortable. Not super fancy, but definitely cozy and more than enough for a relaxing stay. One thing I really appreciated was how friendly and helpful the staff were. From the lifeguards to the front desk and even the restaurant crew —everyone was accommodating and polite. The food inside the resort tasted good and the servings were decent. Would definitely come back and also recommend this resort to friends!!

I have visited this place twice this year. And all I could say is that this resort is a textbook example of what a resort is. It perfectly defines the word "resort". The staff were so accommodating. The rooms were clean, and the food served were all mouthwatering. And you can see that safety is a must here. Even on slides, there were assigned lifeguards, which you can barely see at other resorts.
