a week agoThe water at the beach smelled like a canal in the afternoon and was very dirty. In the morning, it was somewhat cleaner and a bit clearer, but there was still an odor. The water in the bathroom of the room also had a strong rust smell.

7 months agoRooms were good, but the shower door leaked and partially flooded our room before we noticed. The shower drained extremely slow unfortunately. The service was fast and professional though.

2 years agoRooms were tight but adequate enough for the purpose of sleep. There were 2 large double bunk beds in the cottage we used. The bathroom however was located outside of the room so you'd have to step out of the room to the terrace then to the bathroom which was strange for privacy reasons but i guess makes sense so as not to track in wet sand. The pipes, however, were clogged on both the floor drain and the toilet flushed very slowly giving you the impression that it would overflow before flushing down. Service wise was OK... we had to ask for a mop because our terrace area was already wet and sandy when we got there and was given a mop to clean our own floors. No one at least offered to assist us or anything but I guess that's their standard of service. Location wise, the beach was walking distance from the cottages. The sand and water was cleaned up enough to enjoy as long as you move out of the way of the boats lined up on the shore. There were also several vendors in the way but that's unavoidable for tourist destinations. There were also a lot of rowdy guests but again, unavoidable since it was the weekend. Would have been nice if there was some control though from the staff when they became too boisterous. Overall, the experience was ok. It wasn't bad, but it also was not spectacular.
