Strutz Art Garden Resort

Great "home away from home" for either business of a quiet get away. Extremely friendly staff that goes above and beyond to ensure the guests are well taken care off. I have been staying at Strutz now for the last 5 months (every time I come to Abra), and I can say that there's no other place like it for comfort, security, cleanliness, service and the food. It is a real oasis.

This place is an oasis of quietness, beauty and safety. We spent 5 nights here in July and were very satisfied. The resort has very good service and all staff is very friendly. The area is very well taken care of and everything is clean and in order. It reminded me of a botanic garden with golf range standard. Trees and flowers are in the right place and are well taken care of, providing also a nice biotope for colorful butterflies. You can walk around the garden and enjoy coffee and cake in a dedicated nice coffee bar, or enjoy the well maintained and, during night time, illuminated pool. Being owned by an artist, paintings and other art can be found all over the resort. For blowing off some steam or burning some calories, the resort also has a nice gym, including table tennis. We were very satisfied with the served breakfast and the food offered in the restaurant. Our room was spacious, very clean and equipped with a modern AC and Smart TV. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. In total, this was a very pleasant and memorable stay, and we will definitely come back again when visiting the area the next time.

I was looking for a place to stay as I haven’t been back to the Philippines in over 15 years, and I must say Strutz Art Garden resort is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment you step in, you’re surrounded by a breathtaking blend of nature and art. I’m so happy I found this place. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional care and hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. They take the time to share fascinating insights about the plants and art installations, making the experience both educational and inspiring. Whether you need guidance or simply want to soak in the beauty, they make sure you’re well taken care of every step of the way. Walking through the lush greenery, vibrant tropical flowers, and peaceful pathways, I couldn’t help but feel like I had been transported to Hawaii. The tranquil atmosphere, the fresh air, and the way nature is seamlessly woven into the art remind me of the islands’ serene beauty. It’s a rare place that captures that same relaxing, tropical vibe while being a work of art itself. The peaceful ambiance makes it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, whether you’re a nature lover, an art enthusiast, or just looking for a serene retreat. If you appreciate the beauty of botanical landscapes combined with artistic creativity, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Strutz is a cozy garden resort. Very clean and staff's are attentive. The owner is very nice and friendly. Highly recommended if you are staying in Abra.

My approach has always been to keep low expectations and maintain high standards. At least I will not be heart broken incase the hotel/resort does not meet my standards. With that said, my family and I were very impressed and very comfortable with our stay at the Strutz Art Garden Resort. Our 14month old was still adjusting to the heat, and the cold AC really helped put the heat concern at ease. The bungalow was very spacious with zero bug scares or issues. Shower/Restroom was well maintained by the staff each day ensuring a very clean facility. My wife and our family ate everything on the breakfast menu, and the staff was very accommodating. My 14 month old enjoyed the corn beef with garlic rice! There is a very large and mesmerizing koi pond near the pool and a warm pool with jacuzzi to take a dip in. Rain or shine swimming in the pool was so refreshing! The staff was so kind enough to bring and have family dinner on the premises, giving us addition opportunity to bond. If you look around the plants and vegetation, you will also see the care to details in how the vegetation is trimmed. The internet was fast, and the tv allowed for us to use YouTube for our Super Simple Song videos! Expect to hear the roosters at 445am each morning in the province. You only have a couple days so get up and make the most of it! Overall, my family really enjoyed our stay here and we will even go as far as to say… This will be our go to resort in Abra.
