Oval Era Hotel

Clean and good location. Be ready to pay daily and be charged extra for early check-in or late check-out even if the hotel is not fully booked. Remember to ask for a room facing West as the East side is next to the uphill road, making it noisy early in the morning. Breakfast is not included in the room rates and have limited choices - set meals of longganiza, tocino, or fried boneless Bangus with egg and instant coffee.

Twin bed rooms are wide, with clean towels and beddings.. But no toothpaste&brush, water and other amenties (but with nice aircon & cable tv). Limited parking space (about 8 vehicles?)

Large room & clean, air-con, cold water shower, no coffee & tea in room, food & drink a bit pricey, no lift so lots of stairs, staff are very accommodating for guest comfort, no daily room clean.

Worst hotel.. checked in around 6pm went out for dinner as soon as we came back by 10pm the hotels doors where closed could not get in. Knocked for an hour since we can see the front desk clerk sleeping in front but would not wake up so we called the police and they also knocked for an hour and also used the patrols siren but still would not wake up he eventually woke up after more than 2 hours. When he came out his eyes were red and dilated probably drunk or high on drugs. We immediately checked out and asked for a refund which he did. The police eventually brought us to grand robertos inn which i highly recommend.

A good place where to stay, but no place for tourists or foreigners. No food, no wifi, no breakfast, no foreign language speaker... And good rooms, clean and fresh! Depends on what you need...
