Villa De Gloria

Would return to the Philippines again just to stay at Villa de Gloria. It really made our trip to the country special, we were so comfortable and welcomed here. The hotel has so many quirky and homely touches with spectacular views and sunsets. Ernie & Gloria run the place with passion and attention to detail and I hope they continue to thrive. The rest of the staff were the best we interacted with during our time in the Philippines. The location is a little remote so transport is recommended but there is a mini market on site for the necessities.

I think of all the places I looked for to stay sa Bohol, this place is the most affordable na with breakfast na. ^_^ My family had a quiet and chill stay here sa Villa. Katabi mo dagat na if u wanna swim sa saltwater, they also have pool. Which we used with no limit. The Owner is so accomodating, Sir Ernie talks with his guest, makes them feel at home. ^_^ All staffs are friendly. On the day we needed to check out early, no hassle, we asked for port transfer and ang bilis nila mag call for a driver. Thanks Villa De Gloria. 🏠

Value for money is great. Friendly staff. Only thing I can fault is availability of alcohol. Food has to be pre booked but is good. Alcohol is from their general store which is open 7am-11pm. View is priceless.

This truly is a special place. We were really grateful to find this accommodation and really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to Beth especially for helping us with all of our needs and inquiries. Ernie the owner as well is so welcoming and willing to chat and gave great advice for our travels. They really did feel like a faraway family, evening sending us off the day we left. So special. They moved us to the honeymoon suite with a beautiful view as we were staying for longer term. Although there was a pesky peeing lizard in that suite, it’s completely out of their control and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Sometimes you just have to be one with nature Very comfy beds, well working aircon, hot shower. The Villa is about 20 minutes scooter from the main town Panglao and 10 minutes to Tagbilaran. Easy to get to, both directions. They offer a good breakfast, scooter rental, paddleboard, and laundry services, as well as a little shop with essential items and snacks. I spent a total of three nights at the hotel with my wife. The hotel is somewhat secluded, which provides a pleasantly quiet atmosphere, and the location is truly excellent. The view is breathtaking and makes up for everything. Our small cottage at the front was equipped with everything one needs. The staff is extremely friendly and makes a great effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The included breakfast offers a limited selection but tastes very good and is local. The dinner is also very satisfactory, and the prices are more than fair. The owner has a green thumb and lovingly takes care of the diverse plant life around the property. Additionally, he is always in a good mood, very friendly, and up for a short chat. Thank you for everything and stay healthy.
