a month agoWe had a wonderful stay at Marilou Beach Resort! 🌊 The staff and the owner themselves were incredibly friendly and accommodating — they truly made us feel at home. The place is relaxing, clean, and perfect for a quick getaway or a longer stay by the beach. We’ll definitely be coming back here on our next trip. Highly recommended for both locals and foreign travelers alike! ✨

2 months agoI really like this place because it's not that crowded. The only thing I don't like is that there's no escalator, which isn't very friendly for senior guests. You have to walk up the stairs, and what's most irritating is that the staff won't offer to help you carry your luggage, even when they see you're having a hard time. The breakfast buffet was a mess. When we got to the breakfast hall, there was no food left, and we had to wait 5 to 15 minutes for them to cook more. But overall, it's a nice, peaceful, and clean place.

a week ago“Their resort is okay, the pool is nice and their beach is good. The sand is very white all the way to the deeper part. But their rooms really need improvement the water in the rooms has weak pressure and tastes like seawater, a bit salty. Their bathtub has no stopper, so you can’t fill it with water. The air conditioner doesn’t get cold right away in the morning; it only gets cold at dawn. Their food also isn’t good, a bit salty as well. But overall, their beach is really nice and their swimming pool is good

5 months agoWe had a lovely stay at Marilou Beach Resort! The beachfront view was beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable. Initially, we were assigned a room on the second floor, but we encountered some issues with the water. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and quickly moved us to a room on the first floor, which resolved the issue. One thing to note is that their in-house restaurant was quite pricey, so you might want to explore nearby dining options if you're on a budget. Overall, it was a great experience — peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a beach getaway. Just a few small hiccups, but everything else made up for it.

2 months agoThe presidential suite was a huge letdown. The actual room looks very different from the pictures in the website. It’s not well maintained—there’s already kalawang (rust) in the bathroom. When we arrived, there were lots of mosquitos inside (I even had to buy Baygon just to get rid of them), which is unacceptable for a “presidential” suite. Food is overpriced and the charges are unreasonable. If you order food from outside (like McDonald’s), they charge ₱500 corkage per dish or per bag. And if you order from their in-house restaurant, they add an extra 10% service charge just to bring the food to your room, on top of the already high prices. Definitely not worth the cost.
