Malachi Hotel and Resort

I loved my stay here last time! So much so that we have decided to stay here again for my next visit, when I plan to get married. We also will be using the Malachi resort for our reception. The staff are very friendly plus they speak English so no problems for travelers. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. There are two pools available and the food is awesome. I don't often give 5 stars but this resort gets it this time.

Pricey for the kind of room they have. Room has basic beds and thin sheets. Closet and tv are also provided. +1 to the separate toilet and bath areas within the room. The room that we used has a door that is smaller than its door post so the hotel just put a piece of wood to make the door fit. No breakfast, no resto in the hotel but it is near the town center. You can take the trike for 10pesos per passenger fare. Swimming pool is okay. You can bring own food. Events is okay too. Extra hour for events is charged 2k pesos per excess hour.

Some of the staff struggling with English but they try their best. Large menu but very limited as most of the menu options are for "4" or "6". If you see one of these you like you better be really hungry. Meals served staggered ie I have finished my meal before my wife's dish has even reached table !!! Can't seem to grasp concept of bringing burger and portion of chips at the same time !

Never going here anymore. The restaurant tried to pull a fast one and doubled some items on the bill from what we actually ordered and consumed, charging double from what we actually owed. Even if it was a simple mistake, the fact that it happened made me distrust their system.

2nd time in Malachi. Last 2019 breakfast was included but this time is not. A bit pricey for 4pax but the service is great. Food at the restaurant is very good and generous serving too.
