3 weeks agoThe staffs are friendly. Food/breakfast is good. Why I gave 2 stars is because of the room, specifically shower. We where in room 44_, when I opened the shower, the drainage smelled like "canal" or "imburnal". It didn't went away. We're too tired so we slept. On next day we requested if we can shower somewhere, staff good to let us shower on nearby room, there was smell too on other rooms shower but it's not as bad as our room. Management, please do something about this. I know this is not fault of staff.

3 months agoI stayed at Bohol Tropics for one night while attending an event in Bohol. I opted for the Deluxe Horizon Room, which offered a lovely sea view. The resort was conveniently close to the port. The location made it very accessible, especially for a short stay. Overall, a comfortable and convenient choice for travelers. I just hope the reception staff could be a bit more friendly to make the guest experience even better.

2 months agoI have stayed here many times when I was still in the Philippines, and I can honestly say it is a very nice place to stay. The staff are friendly, and the food is delicious with plenty of choices. When I go on vacation in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

5 months agoThis place looks decent at first glance, but sadly, it was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had in Bohol. We recently held our seminar/training here, and from start to finish, the service was slow, cold, and unwelcoming. The cold and unsmiling staff couldn't even greet us with even a simple “good morning”—something that’s basic hospitality 101. During meal times at the buffet, the staff would serve the tiniest scoops of food with expressionless faces, like we were being rationed in a war zone—despite the fact that there were plenty of leftovers every day. It felt stingy and awkward, especially knowing our officials paid good money for this event. Accommodation? Mediocre. Food? Barely passable. Service? Appalling!!! The worst of all was the front desk—completely aloof, rude, and unhelpful. One of our barangay officials simply asked to borrow a pen for a quick note, and this receptionist, with visible annoyance, refused, saying they were “using it”—as if the entire front desk only had one precious pen in the kingdom. Overall? Disappointing, frustrating, and not worth recommending—especially for events or anything requiring basic, decent hospitality!

5 months agoThe hotel is close to Tagbilaran port and city providing a good resting point to breakup a long journey on the way to further locations, or if you’re conducting business or formalities in Tagbilaran. The hotel is popular for weddings as such it can be tricky to book or to get hold of reservations, especially if you’re calling from overseas. There is entertainment every night in the restaurant providing a nice vibe whilst dining on local cuisine.
