a year agoWe booked at the last minute because we first checked into the Benjamin Hotel. The Benjamin was completely unlivable so we immediately checked out and inquired about the nicest hotel in Naval. We were told Frogotch was the place. We and checked in. It looked promising as the entry looked clean and updated. We asked for their best room and were told that was the executive sweet. We booked for the rest of our planned stay. We went to the room and quickly realized the living conditions were not much better than the Benjamin. No hot water, only a twin bed, not big enough for my wife and I, but we made it work. Every time one of us moved, we’d nearly bump the other one off the bed. The room is tiny, not even enough room to unpack our bags. Some sort of insects were all over the bathroom floor. When I moved the bucket that was located in the shower, a lizard was there. I hate lizards!!!. No elevator and room was on third floor. Are at the restaurant one morning and got sick. We would have left earlier than we did, but the wife’s brother was getting married and we were there for the wedding. We did shorten our stay by two days, we left right after the wedding. Naval its self is a dump and it appears the standard of living is very low. Unless you are into roughing it, I don’t recommend a stay at this hotel or any other place in Naval.

2 years agoWorst hotel in Naval. I had a business trip to Naval and prior arriving to the place, I already booked my hotel reservation online. The check-in process went smoothly and I was allowed to check-in early. I went to work and did not mind my hotel anymore, though the room assigned to me had a door knob to which the room key given to me wasn't working. After work, I went back to the hotel and was told by the receptionist that the previous employee who entertained me erroneously gave me a room that wasn't covered by my reservation and I had to pay an additional 450 pesos. Despite their negligence, they still insisted that I pay for the additional fee which was actually not my fault. I hope they don't do this to other guests that would be staying in the hotel. As for me, I would never set foot in this hotel, ever.

2 years agoI only got to experience their function room and catering, and it was so-so. It was just wide and spacious. They have attentative staff though, but there were no hot/cold water dispenser available, you have to ask the waiter every time. The food was also served with bare hands, staff must be trained pa. Also, their cooked pork was overly marinated with Maggi Savor. Haha

6 years agoRoom was spacious and clean, but no chairs or table to leave your clothes and luggage on. Tap was not working but shower was warm and good. It's wise to announce using breakfast, lunch or dinner in the hotel, which is possible, because otherwise the very friendly staff will be flabbergasted. A simple beer is not available at dinnertime, some soft drinks and stronger spirits are. There is free WiFi on the ground and first floor, but it couldn't reach the second.
