Club Punta Fuego has become our go-to destination for a quick weekend escape. The drive is easy and just a few hours from home, making it perfect for spontaneous trips. We usually arrive earlier than the check-in time, and it’s a big plus that guests are allowed to enjoy the Beach Club right away. The kids always get to start their day at the pool or beach, which sets a great tone for the whole stay.
The rooms are consistently clean and well-maintained, and the service is truly top-notch. The staff are warm, accommodating, and always willing to assist with anything you might need. What we appreciate most is the peaceful and exclusive atmosphere—far from the usual crowds and noise. It’s a place where parents can genuinely relax.
We’ve been visiting almost twice a year for the past few years, and it never loses its charm. Club Punta Fuego continues to be a favorite family retreat, and we look forward to every return.
The ambiance and the whole place is awesome. It would really give you a wholesome getaway experience. Plenty of amenities like tennis court, swimming pools etc. There's shuttle if you wanna go the beaches, and the food is not bad. They have plenty of variation for the breakfast buffet but it's the best one can have. For our room, the windows aren't cleaned and the sink in the toilet is clogged. Overall, would love to go back here.
Leaving a Review for the Restaurant.
Wanted to have breakfast since we have an early Tee Time. Arrived at the restaurant for breakfast at 630am only to find out that the restaurant opens at 7am. In our view, there was already food laid out, yet according to the staff the chef refuses to allow us to eat early.
In other places the hotel/resort would accommodate to feed their guests specially when they offer amenities in the morning. What food am I to eat prior to playing golf then?
Where’s the service and hospitality?
The place itself is beautiful—great renovation, stunning views, and peaceful surroundings. You can tell a lot of effort went into making it visually appealing. But sadly, the service was a huge letdown.
You’re stopped at the entrance and told you must book a room to enter—10,000 pesos for six people. We agreed, handed over our documents, and went to grab a bite while check-in was underway. Then a heavy rainstorm started, and it no longer made sense to stay since we couldn’t use any of the facilities.
When we informed the staff that we decided not to proceed with the stay, we were suddenly told we had to pay an “entrance fee.” This was never mentioned earlier. Worse, we later found out there’s actually a 1,200-peso-per-person option to access the facilities without booking a room—but no one told us about it.
In the end, we were charged 500 pesos per person just for entering the property—on top of that, we had already paid the full price for our lunch at their restaurant. Very disappointing service and communication. It felt unfair and disrespectful. A beautiful place, but with management like this—it’s not worth the hassle.
Went here solo for my bday. Luckily got upgraded to a loft, balcony room with a great sea view. Great facilities and beaches. There are three places to eat on site, as well as spa, golf, a great infinity pool, and other services. The resort itself was huge with plenty of area to move about so even though other people were checked-in, it still felt "exclusive".
Removing one star because most of the food was so-so compared to the significant price. My first meal here was fish and chips, which was undercooked. I returned it and it was still undercooked for the second time. I didn't have to pay for it but it was still a bad dining experience. The only meal I truly enjoyed was the Philly Steak sandwich from the T&C Bar Lounge. Other than that, the others were just ok.
