Our family has been visiting this resort for almost 10 years whenever we get the chance to go on vacation. Though the room accommodations have never been that great — the restroom floors often have stagnant water because of poor drainage, the mattresses and linens are already worn out, and the towels are old and overused. Still, we kept coming back because of the relaxing hot spring amenities and the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. However, our recent stay was quite disappointing. During our checkout, the staff informed us that one of the towels was missing. We explained several times that we requested housekeeping on the second day and didn’t count how many towels were replaced and that none of us took any towel to the pool area, especially since we know that pool towels can be provided upon request. Despite our explanation, we were made to wait for more than 30minutes while they searched for the missing towel. It was embarrassing and insulting, especially after being loyal guests for so many years. My husband even had to open all our luggage in front of them just to prove that we didn’t take any towel and just so that we can move to our next itenirary. To think that our towels at home are in much better condition than their "precious towel" and to make things worse, one of the staff even checked our belongings ONE BY ONE, including inside our car, just to look for the missing towel is truly humiliating and insulting. Imagine spending for a nice family vacation only to be treated as if we were stealing something as valuable as gold bars. It’s really sad that a simple misunderstanding changed how we feel about a place we’ve loved for years. We truly hope management takes this as constructive feedback and improves how situations like this are handled because respect and trust toward long-time guests should matter too.

This was our second time staying at Sol Y Viento this year, and for good reason! We absolutely love the Cabana Queen for a relaxing 3 days and 2 nights, especially because the indoor jacuzzi is a definite must-have amenity for us. The resort is incredibly family-friendly; my son spent hours on the pool slide, which is his favorite feature here. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a refreshing getaway. The excellent service truly sets this resort apart. We wanted to give a special commendation to Mariel at the Front Desk for her efficient and welcoming check-in, and to Joseph for his attention and making sure we had a wonderfully smooth stay. The entire staff contributes to the lovely atmosphere, and we already know we will be back again soon. Highly recommended. Maraming salamat

When we arrived at the resort, the nature vibe and peaceful ambience instantly stood out. The staff welcomed us with big smiles and their service was consistently great from check-in to check-out. Check-in was super quick, which I appreciated because I was with a Senior Citizen. We stayed in Cabana 101, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. There were two dining tables, one in the patio and one inside, plus a griller. The jacuzzi inside the room was such a nice bonus, and toiletries were already provided. One of my favorite parts was the buggy service. My mom is a senior and a PWD, and she really enjoyed it. We didn’t even need to use her mobility scooter at all. The pool area was clean and well maintained, and the hot spring was so relaxing. The view around the resort was beautiful too. Breakfast was okay for the price, but again, the staff made the experience so pleasant because they were very accommodating and warm. I also love that it’s pet-friendly. My only small suggestions would be to limit the live band until 10 p.m. since it’s a nature resort and maybe add more sockets inside the room. Also wish they had some sort of light provision in the grilling area, we had to use our flashlights when we were grilling at night. Overall, we had such a good stay. The place was peaceful, the staff were amazing and highly commendable, and we’re already planning our next visit!

We only had a day tour. Entrance is 300 and cottage is 750, but they have corkage for food and beverages from outside. Very satisfied with this place, it is on top of the hill so it has a great view of pansol and laguna lake. Pool has a warm portion and a jacuzzi with pretty hot water.

Spent an amazing retreat here at Sol Y Viento. We booked the cabana queen and were highly satisfied with the room. The staff were friendly, including those by the poolside team who were kind enough to offer us fresh mangoes straight from the tree nearby! We almost had the place to ourselves due to off season, nonetheless the place has amazing views and pools are well-maintained. They also have a barrio fiesta which offers a variety of Filipino foods - their halo halo is a must! Will definitely be back very soon.
