Despite its apparent busy-ness throughout any given day, Laresio still serves as a go-to place for families, friends, and intimates who would want to enjoy a day of recreation or an overnight stay of relaxation in Laguna.
Location and Facilities
Located on Tadlac Road in what is practically the boundary between Los Baños and Calamba City in Laguna, the place boasts a wide array of facilities for visitors to enjoy. There are a number of pools for you to enjoy either solo, in pairs, or in groups. There is still the famous zipline that essentially covers a large part of Laresio. You can use their billiard table or just relax on the numerous seats available in the area. There are comfort and wash rooms available all around Laresio and so you need not worry whenever you need to ‘go’. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you will go there as a big group or if you happen to visit during a day when there are many visitors. It is ideal to park your vehicle on the farthest area, near the lake, to avoid possible requests to move your car to another spot. Another practical suggestion is to park early in the day for you to have the opportunity to choose your parking spot.
Laresio is, perhaps, most famous for the so-called Lakeside Experience where there are a number of water-related facilities which you can enjoy, depending on the package you avail. There is the Slip N’ Fly, The Blob, Cliff Diving, Kayaking, Balsa Rafting, and Wrecking for you to try. The use of a balsa comes at a fee but it would give you a firsthand experience of the Alligator Lake or Tadlac Lake. No worries as there are no longer alligators on these waters. The place has been cleared of them. Alligators were documented to have been presented there during the Spanish period in the Philippines.
Careful, though, around these water facilities. Always wear your vest or ensure that there are staff or lifeguards present before trying any of them. It would be fun to have your runs recorded and so it would be ideal to have someone on the lake document your leap or slides.
Food
Our stay there was as a large delegation and so the food was served was served buffet style. From the snacks to the main meals, the food was great with the guaranteed additions of desserts and drinks. You can try out the bar, although we were not able to do so.
Similar to large recreational places, it is always practical to inquire of the availability of the facilities you intend to avail ahead of time and book early so that you can maximize your stay there upon arrival.
🌿 Laresio Lakeside Resort – Honest Review
⭐ Pros:
•Hot spring water pool is very relaxing — perfect for unwinding!
The lake view is beautiful — very relaxing and peaceful. (Check out my uploaded photos!)
The resort is huge, with plenty of space to explore.
We paid ₱4,000 for 2 pax, which already included 3 full meals each — sulit!
⚠️ Cons & Room Experience:
We stayed in the room near the pool, which was quite small.
The toilet had a bad smell and could use better cleaning.
Towels didn’t absorb water at all, so they were basically useless.
The blanket was thick and hot, not comfortable for sleeping.
The TV was just placed on top of a table, very unstable — we were afraid it might fall.
On a positive note, the housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated.
🛶 Activities:
The resort offers a lot of exciting lake adventures like cliff diving, kayaking, and more. I personally wasn’t into it, so I didn’t try any — but it looked fun for those who are more adventurous.
The place is amazing for adventure and funnoutdoors. I think it's a good place for a daytour. The food was delicious. The room has basic needs. The decor is nice too. The bed was kinda scary. There were lots of pillows but the bed sheet and blanket was thin. The Aircon was not as cold as expected. There were cockroach in the door by the cr. The bathroom does not have any hooks for the clothes or towel.
Great value for money. We avail the day tour packages for about 1500 pesos each for 25 pax , which includes Unlimited used of amenities + am and pm snacks and lunch. We don't avail the rooms, that's why I didn't rate it.
Fun lakeside activities, decent amenities. Just be aware that they allow team building activities in parking lot and if your okay with guests placing their water bottles on you vehicle, then go for it.
