Villa Janella Residences & Beach Resort

The location was a bit far from our expectation because we're from Manila, and the 3 hours travel turns into 5 hours and 40 mins due to the traffic speciallyin Subic Freeport area. We arrived at the resort late from our check-in time but thanks to the staff they still welcome us and extended our time check-out. I can say that it's all worth it because we go there to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this place. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation then this place is for you.

LEAVING THIS FOR EVERYONE'S AWARENESS, BEWARE. We had an incident at this resort, one of the long running staff was caught peeping in the bathroom windows of the rooms, in addition the windows on most of the rooms are broken and can easily be removed. We confronted the on duty admission staff, but we were slow walked, because they kept on telling us that they needed to tell the owner first for whatever reason, even though we demanded authorities to intervene. Going forward, we reviewed the CCTV footages and identified the person. But then, the owner talked to the assailant before calling the police, and they tried to persuade us that "pwede po ba siya pumunta dito (office nila sa admission) para mag explain" my reaction was, bakit mo kailangan mag explain? huling huli ka na, at bakit di tumawag ng police. Pag dating ng police, nakatakas na daw ang suspek. I dont need to explain any futher you guys can just pick up the pieces. Also, mahina ang mga tubig sa CR and yung water sa pool parang di well maintained.

Beautiful location on the beach with a 2 island ocean view. Clean ocean, wide, long and empty beach. Not much to do in the nearby area but if you're an ocean person: Diver, fisherman, sailor, etc... this would be a good place for you.

A perfect place for a quick trip with friends or family. The resort is very quiet and very private. The hotel is good and has a water heater. What is lacking is there are isn't enough space for preparing food but there is a beach restaurant to remove the hassle of food preparation. The beach is a nice place to take sunset photos if you like.

Visited this place on Jan 15, 2023 so I already forgot what we paid. We were only there for a day tour, I think we paid per person and that’s already inclusive of pool use (I can’t remember if we paid for the cottage rental but we used a cottage, brought and cooked our own food). The location is really nice and easily accessed if you bring your own car. There are no public transport going here. It’s very quiet and unlike in usual resorts where they blast videoke, here it’s very serene and peaceful. There are a few mobile merchants selling trinkets and they sometimes go inside where the cottages are, close to the gate, which I feel was a security issue if you leave your stuff unattended in the cottage. The showers are clean and the water pressure is good.
