Save your self and dont book here No pool - read google reviews 2 mos ago about it being “under maintenance “ and they say its still ongoing. They said when i arrived- they will put water in it. But it feels like they are just saying it. No water at the hotel - checked in 2pm; no advise about no water. Left 3pm they said the maintenance is fixing it. And should be up and running. Back at 7pm still no water. Guest are all frustrated. They keep saying that they are fixing but they are just lying. No water still in the next morning. I asked for refund or move me to a different hotel since they cant provide basic needs. After demanding to speak to a manager (which they dont have) or owner and repeatedly saying that i need a refund they move me to their partnered hotel (orange pearl- vanilla beach) Facilities- the photos in agoda is far from the reality. Place is old and not maintained anymore. Rooms and receiving area has a funny old smell. No pool - read google reviews 2 mos ago about it being “under maintenance “ and they say its still ongoing. First off I’d like to say this is “budget friendly hotel” for us foreigners and holds up to that. For being a budget friendly hotel, it Defintley was worth my money. The staff was friendly, willing to help, and courteous. I could even say they went above and beyond when I was sick to help me feel better! The hotel comes with security so I felt safe the entire time! Hotel comes with a pretty nice pool that has cool lights at night and poolside bar. Best of all a nicely equipped gym! No AC… but that really added to the sweat in my workout so I quite enjoyed it heehee. My room came with a small TV (I would’ve been okay with no Tv, because who comes to the Philippines to sit in their hotel to watch tv?) AC that blows cold, a fridge and my shower ran hot water! I was in room 311 Hotel room was clean, and housekeeping came when called. Which btw. The housekeeping staff was the best. Big shout out to mari-chris 💞 Although I can say the hotel could use some renovations and maybe some love and care for their mangrove eco park. Upgrades to the mangrove eco park would add an extra sparkle to the business if it were to be taken care of just a little bit. Wifi isn’t the best, but I had connection the whole time. but it helped me detox from being on my phone all the time. After all I came here to reconnect with my roots, not to be stuck on my phone all day. Scooter rental is 6-700 pesos which is probably a bit more than renting in the city. But the convenience of at hotel pick up and drop off is awesome! Considering a tricycle ride to the city is 200 pesos. El Nido city center is a short drive. 15 mins max. Vanilla beach (which is beautiful!) is a 10 min walk and easy to access with little shops along the way. Over all, my stay here was wonderful. Not a Hilton, but not a hostel. A great middle choice if you’re looking for a safe, clean spot to keep your stuff while you go on adventures :)! Edit: will add more photos of the hotel when I check out!

I did not have a good experience with this hotel. There was a leak in the toilet in our room, which then clogged. The elevator did not work. The price of food/drinks and services such as laundry is absurd compared to other nearby places. They did not offer filtered water in the room and when we asked to wash our clothes, it took days for them to bring it back. The service leaves a lot to be desired

You're not feeling welcome. First of all the staff is friendly but act like they never seen a person before, the service is non-existent. Towels are dirty and torn, outside bar is closed, only have 1 type of beer inside and not even coke. Was recommended pizza but they couldn't do pizza that day and the food is just not good. The room smells funky and moldy and air freshener has been put down in the corners. The overall experience is bad and it's too overpriced for what you get. Will cancel after 1 out of 3 days and I don't even count on getting the money back since it's just a bad place with bad service..
