We stayed at Henry Resort in a two-bedroom unit for two adults and two kids. The resort has a beautiful, nature-inspired design and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s located right in front of the beach, which makes it perfect for those who want to unwind and enjoy the sea breeze. There’s no TV or dedicated table in the room, but the cabinets can be used as a workspace and great for people who want to work while on vacation. The place is ideal for anyone who wants to disconnect from gadgets and the toxic rush of city life. For me, it was truly a relaxing getaway; I slept more, rested deeply, and just felt calm the entire time. The whole place is quiet and peaceful. The best part of our stay was definitely the food! 🍽️ The servings are huge, perfect for sharing, and everything we tried tasted really good. Honestly, I was hesitant to stay here at first because I was considering Aquatico, which has more luxurious rooms and amenities. I also read several negative reviews about Henry Resort, but I decided to try it anyway and I’m glad I did! The staff were friendly, polite, and very accommodating, which made our stay even better. The beach itself isn’t like Boracay; the sand grains are a bit bigger, almost like aquarium sand, but the water is clear and clean. So while it’s not world-class, it’s still a good spot to relax and enjoy. Overall, I had a wonderful and restful vacation. I’d definitely come back here, maybe next year. I recommend you try it yourself first before judging the negative comments; it might just surprise you and suit your taste! 🌴

The hotel manager lied to me that the second floor of rooms are occupied while I am staying overnight I found out that the room that I liked to book was vacant. This is very disappointing. The service of the hotel is not good as well because even if the rooms are small the pool is so very dirty with sand in the water. They should maintain cleaning it every week while there are no guests Lastly, they were seeking an additional charge before I left the hotel for 2k for the slippers but I even did not wear them. It’s good that I argued how corrupt their staff were seeking additional income without a receipt. I didn’t like the room that they assigned me in Rm 102, there was no internet connection for me to do my meetings inside my room 🤬 I’m never again coming back to this hotel. Maybe try Aquatico or Coco Grove. They have better service.

Escaping the city's hustle and bustle for a much-needed long weekend in August, my family and I set our sights on the tranquil shores of Laiya, Batangas. Our destination: The Henry Taramindu. The drive from Alabang was a manageable three hours, a welcome change from the often-grueling traffic to other popular beach destinations like Zambales. While the journey was long, the anticipation of sun, sand, and sea made every kilometer worth it. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a resort that exuded a sense of quiet and relaxation. The Henry Taramindu is a small, intimate property, which is precisely its charm. It feels less like a commercial resort and more like a private, secluded retreat. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, a perfect antidote to our hectic city lives. Our room, while on the smaller side for our liking, was thoughtfully appointed. The amenities were a standout, particularly the lemongrass-scented body wash, shampoo, and lotion. The invigorating scent was a luxurious touch that elevated the simple act of a shower into a mini-spa experience. However, the bed was a bit of a letdown for me. It seemed to be a spring bed, and as someone who prefers a firmer mattress, it wasn't the most comfortable. Despite this minor drawback, the overall quality of the room's offerings was impressive. The true stars of The Henry Taramindu are its beach and pool. The beach was simply stunning. The sand was a pristine white, and the water was crystal clear. It wasn't overly crowded, which allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline. I even indulged in a bit of "crystal hunting," and the beach did not disappoint. The pool was equally impressive, with a clean, well-maintained feel. The water had the perfect balance of chemicals, ensuring our eyes were spared from the sting often associated with heavily chlorinated pools. Meals were a highlight of our stay. The resort's restaurant serves high-quality food, and the team was exceptionally accommodating and attentive. Every meal was a delightful culinary experience, from the presentation to the taste. The service was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. In conclusion, our long weekend at The Henry Taramindu was a truly enjoyable vacation. Despite a few minor issues with the room size and the bed, the resort's tranquil atmosphere, beautiful beach, excellent amenities, and fantastic food and service far outweighed any negatives. It’s a perfect destination for those seeking a quiet, relaxing beach getaway. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already looking forward to our next visit to this hidden gem in Laiya.

Thanks for ruining our birthday trip, The Henry Resort. We booked a room at The Henry Resort in Laiya, me and my husband. I made a mistake of not adding hus name on the booking, resulting to single person booked only. The room clearly stated a max occupancy of 2, and the rates for single and double occupancy were exactly the same. So imagine our surprise when the resort insisted we pay an additional ₱1,800 per night… for what? Breathing the same air? When we tried to reason with them, hoping for even a hint of hospitality, we were met with zero flexibility, condescending replies, and a tone so rude it completely turned us off from checking in at all. Customer service? More like customer disservice. We felt so disrespected we walked away; no refund, no apology, just gaslighting. To make it worse, they’re now claiming Agoda refused our refund, even though I have written confirmation from Agoda approving it. So not only unprofessional, but dishonest too? To add more, a week before this crazy incident.. we booked 3 rooms for 2N 3D each which was paid and had our booking cancelled few hours before check in time! Stay here only if you enjoy being scammed, disrespected, and dismissed. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else.

Spent my husband's birthday here last March 23-24 at The Henry's and it was quite of an experience! The room was so clean, the beddings are so comfortable and toiletries provided are almost complete! They already have body wash and shampoo readily available and what's so amazing was its Tamarind scented! Complimentary bottled waters and coffee are provided too! I really like their staff and the restaurant in particular. Aside from being so courteous, they let us store and they served our leftover food from dinner so we can eat it for lunch before going home. They prepared it looking fresh and warmed the meals! Well, the portions of our food was so generous just for the two of us haha. The breakfast included to our booking was not just a simple complimentary breakfast. We got a list from silogs, salads, toasts to pancakes! I ordered their smoked bacon silog and again the portion was almost good for 2 people! It comes with salad, 2 eggs and 2 pan de sal! My husband got their spinach and cream cheese which has grilled herb tomatoes, cheese, poached eggs, toast and spinach! It was superb!! We will definitely be coming back here for sure. The place is quiet and really relaxing. One more thing, I really like the fact they have separate towels provided in room and beach towels! We've tried other resorts and they would just provide in door towels so this is also a plus for this resort! Truly their logo speaks for itself! LIKE NO OTHER BTW they offer 15 min of free Kayak! Make sure to ask their staff instead of nearby guys offering kayak
