a week agoAn incredible resort from start to finish. The service is excellent, the food is outstanding, and the pool area is absolutely spectacular. You really don’t need to leave the resort at all—even after five days, everything you need is right there. The facilities are fantastic, especially the gym, which is brand new and very well equipped. Overall, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a worry-free stay. Highly recommended!

a month agoThe only resort in Puerto Princesa that has impeccable, consistent service. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, and polite, which is very rare here in Puerto. Grounds are well kept, food is really good, rooms are always clean, and the gym! So, so nice. :) The management truly makes you feel at home. The amenities are good and we love the little details like the lantern in the rooms especially if you have little kids. We always leave satisfied and we will not stop coming back. :) Also, make sure to visit their Coffee Bar. :) My daughter loves their ice cream. :)

2 months agoWe had a really nice stay in the funny lion hotel! The food, drinks especially breakfast were really nice and beautifully presented. The staff was really attentive and always friendly. They were also engaged in personal contact and always remembered our names. Rooms and Hotel was always perfectly clean and well organised. We used the gym wich was also super clean, well equipped and air conditioned. The hotel stands out with many little things like welcome drinks + cold towel, free use of bikes, cookies in the last evening of your stay, fresh juice and fruit in the refrigerator and much more! All in all it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend to stay!

a month agoOur experience at this resort was truly amazing. From the excellent service, beautiful rooms, delicious food at Hunt Restaurant and the buffet breakfast, to the many complimentary snacks, souvenirs, and activities — everything was absolutely worth it. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the kids, who loved the free biking, archery, banana bike, and kayaking to the sand bar. It was such a great experience! We were also very impressed with how warm, friendly, and attentive the staff were. Adrian, who served us dinner at the Hunt restaurant, was also very attentive and friendly, as were all the other waiters. It was funny because whenever I called my eldest “kuya,” all the staff would look over, a sign of how attentive they all were. Kudos also to all the lifeguards who were very patient and kind in assisting us in the archery, water activities, and going to the sandbar. And last but not least, I want to give special thanks to RJ, who assisted us from the moment we arrived until we checked out. His warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and valued as guests. We had such a wonderful time, especially the kids, who said, “let’s definitely coming back here!” Thank you, Funny Lion! 🦁 ROARRRRR
