The Bruce

We stayed 1 night and our stay was pleasant. We ate at the restaurant, our food took a long time but it was all delicious. The view was nice as well. The rooms were decent with balcony outside, there were table and chairs and hang clothes to dry your swimwear.

We spent a week at The Bruce Resort. The resort is beautiful, green and spacious. We had a nice, big room. The bathroom is a little outdated but worked fine. There is a nice restaurant at the seaside. The resort is located on the beach, less than 10 minutes by scooter from San Juan. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby. Lovely staff. They were doing some construction and renovations at the resort, but that was not a problem for us. It was just a pity that the pool was closed for maintenance. But the staff handled this properly for us! Good value for money!!

We truly loved our stay at The Bruce Resort. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and will make sure that your stay is worth-while. The rooms we spacious, clean and smelled really nice. I would definitely be back

If I could rate 10 stars, I would!! Staff were so accomodating and everyone is always smiling. Check in is supposed to be 2pm but we arrived at 12pm and were allowed to check in early with no extra cost. We stayed in their aircon deluxe room for 4pax and the room was ultra cozy and the wifi was strong— perfect for work from home girlies like my friends and I. Sadly, I have no photos of the room as we immediately went to sleep when we arrived (that’s how cozy it is!!!) and I literally have nothing bad to say about this place.

For phillippine standard a really good resort. Great area/garden with many trees. Direktly at the beach with palm trees and white, very fine sand, beautiful and nice for sundowner. Unfortunately you definitely can't swim. The water is shallow, muddy, and dirty. The rooms are generally good and clean. Only the bathrooms are very dated; the three-bedroom deluxe room was a bit better overall. Somethimes there are a few ants or small spiders, but normal in this jungle location. The terrace and balcony are great. You spend most of your time outside anyway. Scooters available at the reception, perfect. We recommend this accommodation.
