Playa Encantada Beach Resort

My partner and I stayed at this property last December. At first, we were a bit hesitant due to the distance from El Nido town, but once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised and didn’t want to leave anymore. After a short 15-minute boat ride, we were welcomed by the warm smiles of the staff – Vanessa, Carol, Mabel, and Lyn – always friendly and incredibly helpful, taking care of every detail. The place is completely immersed in nature, a true paradise, yet well connected thanks to Starlink, allowing you to stay online even far from the hustle and bustle. The accommodations are a perfect balance between traditional Filipino bamboo style and modern comfort, simply yet thoughtfully furnished, creating a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing: from breakfast to dinner, every meal is always varied, prepared with the freshest ingredients, and made with love and dedication. In this paradise, you’ll also find many free-roaming and adorable animals – dogs, cats, a cow, and even ducks – which make the experience even more special. The owners, Alberto and his partner Rochelle, are simply fantastic: they make every guest feel at home, and their passion and dedication shine through in every detail. I highly recommend Playa Encantada to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, and a unique atmosphere far from the chaos, without sacrificing anything!”

If you search for a most beautiful hideaway, this is definitely a winner! We enjoyed a week of Unwinding, connecting with the ocean, enjoying the whole animal farm ( from dogs & cats to piggies, Bella the cow, ducks and goats all living free and in harmony and sooo much loved by the owners and their family)!!! We were also super excited and satisfied they served us organic vegetarian food every day, prepared with care and really delicious! What a joy to be here! Thank you so much Rochelle & Alberto 💜

Stayed here for only three nights and really enjoyed it. The main highlight is of course the beach which is just as advertised. Overall this is a very relaxing locatation where you can get away from everthing for a little while. That of course comes with its downsides aswell. It does take a while to get there from El Nido city and you will have to take a car and a boat. However, the host is very helpful in that regard. The food was also amazing and I really liked interacting with the many pets. Othe than that thr other downsides are that the rooms dont have an AC, there are some blackouts (bring a powerbank), and there are a lot of Insects. If that all doesnt bother you I'd highly recommend this.

You’re a fool if you pass up this place. I was blown away before we arrived regarding the hospitality. The hospitality is through the roof. Rochelle arranged everything including transportation from El Nido. The food was the best part. Where can you find authentic Italian food in the Philippines? This is a very remote resort only accessible by boat. So you wouldn’t expect real Italian food, this wasn’t some Filipino hotdog spaghetti, this was made with real beef. Oh and the bacon cheese burger made with real beef, where can you find that? If you want adobo you can have that too. Oh also where can you find real fresh ground Italian espresso coffee from the bean in the Philippines? The Italian imported wine was the kicker. The part that makes it ideal is the beach. You get both white sand at your feet and coral reefs just a few yards away. What more do I need to say. No brown outs because they are off grid with solar. I don’t want to forget they have Starlink with over 50-100mb download, where do you find that in the Philippines? Even without aircon it’s worth it because the cool sea breeze at night. We originally booked one night but decided to extend another night for obvious reasons.

We had a wonderful time at Playa Encantada. The hosts are amazing in assisting with every wish. The home-cooked food was delicious and catered to our wishes. Vanessa and her family made us feely truly at home. The animals are friendly and the secluded location is perfect to relax. Highly recommend.
