2 weeks agoMe and my husband had a great stay there and had a cute surprise to celebrate our honeymoon. There were amazing staff like Elmir, Rich, Cris and so many more! They were so kind, attentive and assisted with a variety of services, like shuttles to and from El Nido Town/Airport, restocking our water, helping with our luggages and making reservations on our behalf. Lio beach was also super close and easy to walk to! We did Tour C and loved it! The hotel was also beautiful! Would highly recommend it!

a week agoOur stay at Piece Lio was nothing short of relaxing. The rooms and property was stunning. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was perfect. I felt taken care of from start to finish. The team coordinated tours for us, provided beach towels, and answered any and all of our questions. The quality of service from the entire team was outstanding but special shoutout to Lorraine, Neil, and our driver Ron who were so lovely and helpful throughout our stay.

2 weeks agoAmazing 5-Star Boutique Beach Hotel at Lio Beach, El Nido My stay at this boutique hotel on Lio Beach was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was smooth and hassle-free. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. Shout out to Dan, Chris, Neil, Rina, Lorraine and Rich who made us feel right at home. The drivers Elmir and Jonathan also deserve special mention. They were punctual, professional, and incredibly helpful, providing insightful local tips and ensuring our transportation was safe and comfortable. Their friendly demeanor made every trip around El Nido enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, this hotel exceeds expectations with its beautiful location, cozy and stylish accommodations, and exceptional staff. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in El Nido!

a month agoWe had an absolutely incredible stay at Piece Lio. From the moment you step in, the service is outstanding. The team truly go above and beyond for their guests. They helped us with recommendations, scooter hire, laundry, and even booking spa treatments and were honestly some of the kindest people we’ve met on our trip. My partner and I got engaged during our stay, and they went out of their way to decorate our room and make it extra special — such a beautiful gesture we’ll never forget. It’s all the little touches that make this place so special — free towels for the beach, bottles of water as you head out for the day, airport transfers, and shuttles into town. Everything is done with so much care and attention. The rooms are spacious and stunning, and the location is unbeatable, just a one-minute walk to Lio Beach, where you’ll find amazing restaurants and pristine sunsets. A special thank you to James, John, Ron, Elize, Dan, Rina, John, Cris, Neil, Paul, Rich, Elmir, Jonathan and the entire team for making our experience unforgettable. We can’t recommend Piece Lio enough — not only for the comfort, but for the incredible people who make this place truly special. We’ll definitely be back! 💛

a week agoBeen to hotels in 30 countries, and Piece Lio ranks among the top. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in visiting El Nido looking for a comfortable, cozy, nature-integrated, and upscale experience - without any pretense. Piece Lio sits within the Lio estate, about 4 km away from the El Nido town center, but less than 1 km from the El Nido airport. Lio is a very recent development that includes several hotels, a terrific selection of restaurants and bars, and the gorgeous and relatively peaceful Lio beach. The area caters especially to families; beach clubs with blaring music do not exist in the Lio estate. The estate emphasizes sustainability and conservation (I've had conversations with the Piece Lio staff about this- and it's evident in their policies regarding no single-use plastic, etc.). Piece Lio is part of the H Hospitality group, which has other hotels in other parts of El Nido; the benefit to this partnership is access to their other hotels and their amenities. Piece Lio occupies a relatively small piece of land about a 3 minute walk away from the Lio beach, but it does not feel cramped. It is set within dense flora (e.g., tropical trees, plants, etc), and each room (based on our experience and what I can see outside) offers unobstructed views. We stayed in an Executive loft, and one wall of our room (floor to high ceiling) is made entirely of glass. The space is luxurious, but as it offers views to nature, one feels very grounded in the space. The aesthetic is thoughtful, calming and Japanese-inspired, featuring natural materials throughout: plants, stone, and wood. Amenities are modern (lighting, kitchenette, bathroom). But, very importantly, it is luxurious without being pretentious- a balance so difficult to strike, but somehow Piece Lio manages to do effortlessly. Of course a hotel is nothing without its staff, and those at Piece Lio are top-notch and genuinely invested in their guests. We connected easily and well with those we've conversed: Chris Paul, Loraine, Dan Clifford, Jonathan, and Elmer. They've been incredibly helpful, from giving us local recommendations, to assisting with our van transfers to tours and Nacpan Beach. Those are the staff whose names I remembered, but every single person (barista, food servers, cleaning staff, security, maintenance) was truly kind and helpful. Finally, the food and drinks. The breakfast is very good, and the coffee is excellent. In fact, I had to ask the barista about where the coffee beans were sourced (I just bought several bags online). The coffee beans they use come from Bacolod, Philippines, and are roasted light-medium. In short, Piece Lio offers - I imagine - what most people want during a vacation. Location, amenities, and staff are all excellent- I give them my highest and most emphatic endorsement.
