Oasis Port Barton

EDIT: The owner even gaslighted me, saying my review sounded like it was for a different restaurant and not theirs. I added photos of us ordering our meals as proof. I should have taken a video of us raising our hands for five minutes as evidence that the staff didn’t notice us. Terrible. --- This place was highly recommended as one of the best dinner spots in the area, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was not good. Their bolognese tasted like Filipino spaghetti you’d get at a school canteen. The ribs tasted overwhelmingly like oyster powder, as if I were eating it straight from the packet. We’re happy to pay for an expensive meal as long as the food quality is good, but this was honestly terrible. And not to mention, the customer service was the worst. When we called a staff member to order, asked for her suggestions and them mentioned we were still deciding, she simply walked away. When we needed basic things like a spoon or tissue, we had to raise our hands for about five minutes just to get attention while majority of them are just talking. Overall, a very disappointing experience!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The highlight was the islands tour led by Jaren, he went above and beyond to give the best snorkeling experience. The rooms are simple, but clean and good value for money. Friendly staff and good location.

This was by far the best accommodation we had during our entire stay in the Philippines! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful in every situation. We booked a boat trip, a scooter, and a tuk-tuk to the station through them, and everything went smoothly. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, and every day they asked if we wanted housekeeping. The breakfast was absolutely delicious – the best we had in the Philippines – with a wide variety of choices. The pool area was great for relaxing and enjoying the sun. We highly recommend this place and truly appreciate everything – thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

This hotel is fantastic. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Good food, and clean and well maintained facility. I recommend this 100% for families, friends and couple for visiting port Barton. GREAT JOB!

We arrived without any particular expectations and were pleasantly surprised in every way. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink. Our budget room was a bit smaller and more simply equipped than the others, but it was absolutely sufficient for our needs as backpackers – and turned out to be a real little oasis of comfort. Set apart from the other rooms, it felt almost like a private bungalow with a charming terrace surrounded by greenery. The pool may not be large, but it was very clean and perfectly adequate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was varied and very delicious. All in all, the value for money was excellent. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.
