MOPE Beach Resort

Booked this resort without a lot of advanced notice as a friend from out of town surprised us with a visit. It was absolutely great. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great food, and cold beer. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. They aren't super big rooms, but you don't go to a beach resort to hang out in room. The beach is lovely, with good waves for surfing. I will absolutely be going back.

There are many things I can say about Mope such as the rooms and facilities are clean and well maintained (because the staff are diligent), it has a relaxing atmosphere, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good at more than reasonable prices, it is located right on the sandy beach, and the owners are personable and good people, all of which are true. The one compelling reason why I recommend staying at Mope is that other Filipino families choose to stay at this resort. I highly recommend trying out Mope.

Everyone here was very welcoming and it's a very nice little spot. I'd love to come back if I have the chance.

Great place to learn to surf, right on the beach! It was 200 pesos an hour for lessons + surf boards!! Chad was a great teacher! They play music all day and the food is great 10/10 would recommend

Went there for a weekend surf trip. With coaches Chad and Walter were great! Despite it being particularly flat they managed to find a spot and even took the initiative to find alternate activities to do as contingency. Got the basic room which was value for money. Beds were super soft. Managers were super friendly but only qualms was the limited food menu.
