Lagen, El Nido

Our stay at Lagen Island Resort, El Nido was truly memorable and special. We were honored to be among the first guests after the 18-month renovation, and despite a few areas still being finalized and some facilities not yet fully operational, the experience exceeded our expectations. What truly made the difference was the exceptional hospitality of the team. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for at all times. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth turned any minor inconveniences into non-issues. A very special thank you to Younes, whose professionalism, kindness, and dedication stood out. He made sure our stay was seamless and unforgettable, always checking in with a smile and ensuring we had everything we needed. The natural beauty of Lagen Island combined with the heartfelt service created an experience we will always remember. We are confident that once everything is fully operational, this resort will be even more extraordinary. We are grateful for such a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Disrespectful reservation officer. I was inquiring about inconsistencies on pricing but they focused the discussion on pricing versus the integrity of the websites and third party booking sites.

Best resort we have ever stayed in by far! We stayed for our honeymoon at the end of November 2023 and there were such friendly and lovely staff, beautiful views, amazing cocktails and food, we can’t wait to come back! The day trips are another highlight - because you arrive at the sites before other people, you are often the first or only ones there. Such a different experience to the mass group tours that I had when I went to El Nido 5 years before. All in all - the hotel and the whole experience was incredible!

We had an amazing and memorable stay at Lagen Island! The resort staff and tour guides were friendly and always ready to help. I felt pampered and well taken care of. Our water cottage exceeded my expectations. It was clean and a good mix of modern and traditional Filipino accents. The only slight downside was the weak WiFi which the staff promptly addressed. The food was excellent with a mix of traditional Filipino and Western fare. Our 3 nights stay was enough time to enjoy the resort and visit nearby islands and sights. Highly recommended!

The place is stunning, immersed in a cascade of tropical plants and limestone formations, in probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Service is extremely attentive and caters to all needs, the food is very good and always offer a range since it is a buffet. We did a full-day double-tour with visits to lagoons and snorkelling and we were not disappointed. The rooms on the water are incredible, they are private, comfortable and we had the sunset view which was 10/10. There is a gym, a pool, a bar that makes incredible cocktails, and the chance to take a wonderful walk in the forest to reach the stunning beach on the other side of the island - I highly recommend this. We had the chance to go diving too and everyone was extremely professional. We did two dives close to Miniloc island, swimming with barracudas, yellowtail snappers, sea turtles and lush coral gardens. Would go back more often if only we didn’t live on the other side of the planet.
