JBR Tourist Inn

The rooms are clean and very basic. No amenities provided other than one toilet roll - I understand this is to be expected given the price. The location was great - close to bus station, beach and lots of restaurants. The shower pressure wasn’t good and hot water was intermittent however I think this is common on Palawan. Also, check out time was 10AM - we thought this was so early!

It is situated near the coast. They provide Wi-Fi, although the connection was unreliable, so working remotely might prove difficult. The room includes essential amenities such as a bed with pillows and blankets, a table, and a wardrobe. The shower was functional and clean. There is also a table outside the room. We reserved a room without air conditioning, but it was quite comfortable. I appreciated the convenient parking; having brought a car, it felt secure. My friend mentioned that a kitchen is available for guest use. They also offer tours and other activities.

Not a 5⭐️ hotel, but you get a good value of your money. For budgetarian travellers, you'll get a clean room, comfortable bed, and very accomodating staff :) They also offer tours, we got the island hopping and Kuya Junior was very kind to give us free drone video shots :) inedit pa yan ng kanyang anak :) Walking distance to the beach and to the restaurants. For a wise Pinay traveller like me, this inn is a good catch. Not a 5star hotel, but you'll get a 5⭐️ overall Port Barton experience :)

Dirty rooms, dirty sheets. 500p/day extra for AC . Rose was very nice person. JBR Has potential to be better, wasted opportunity. So many places in PB are run down and crappy but charging like they are in Manila.
