a week agoRemote island glamping What a place. We spent three nights here and loved every minute. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredible. Warm, genuine, and thoughtful, the team clearly care deeply about their guests and the overall experience. The huts are spectacular, offering plenty of space and privacy with the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. Remote island glamping describes it best. Food was a real highlight. The buffet dinner was different every night and consistently excellent, while lunches offered a great mix of Western and Filipino dishes, all freshly prepared to order. Unlike many remote island stays, the bar here really delivers. Not just the usual beer, but proper cocktails too. Piña coladas, Negronis, and the local Isla cocktail quickly became favourites. We spoke with the team about the recent typhoon, which hit the island hard. It’s hard to believe that some recent reviews have focused negatively on this. Yes, there are a few areas still being restored, but considering the resort was almost devastated just six weeks ago, the recovery has been incredibly fast and handled with real care. More importantly, they are rebuilding while protecting local jobs and the community. All in all, warm-hearted people in a truly spectacular remote island resort.

a week agoWe loved to stay at the Isla Experience! The people were super nice, many thanks to Mera and Helen, they made our stay unforgattable! The beach is beautiful, as well as the view from the huts. Be prepared to live with a lot of gekkos and spiders, but that is the part of the experience. The breakfast and the dinner was always very delicious and different. We hope to come back one day!

a week agoI’ve stayed on the island twice now and Isla Experience is honestly something very special. This is not a generic air con resort stay. It is a real island experience done properly and with care. The accomodation is made up of beautifully built bamboo huts that feel authentic to the area and culture. They are simple in the right way but still very comfortable and well thought out. Waking up surrounded by nature, the sea and fresh air just adds so much to the whole experiance and you really feel switched off from normal life straight away. The shared areas are great too. A lovely kitchen, a really good bar area and plenty of space to relax and just take everything in. The beaches are stunning and the views from the island are incredible at any time of day. Photos honestly dont do it justice and you really have to see it in person to get it. The staff and hosts are what really make the place though. I have travelled a lot and Filipino people are without question some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. Everyone makes you feel welcome and looked after and nothing ever feels rushed or fake which is rare these days. There is loads to do right on the island itself. You can go sailing, snorkelling around shipwrecks and see all the nemo style tropical fish without needing to go anywhere else. The hosts always make sure your days are planned out if you want activities, but you can just as easily do absolutley nothing for days and just relax on the island. El Nido is also close by if you want a change of scene, but its not something you need to rely on at all. Isla Experience is perfect if you want something unique and memorable rather than a standard resort holiday. I would 100% recommend it and I will defintely be going back again.

a week agoThe stay was amazing. The place was spotlessly clean, the beach was pristine. The team there were super friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect place to switch off and relax. Would happily come back.

4 months agoMy wife and I spent four nights at The Isla Experience. We are absolutely thrilled. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the activities are fun. We were able to snorkel, kayak, play beach volleyball, attend a cooking class, enjoy fellowship and sing karaoke. The island is beautiful and the accommodation is very comfortable. We can highly recommend it! Tim & Rebekka from Switzerland
