Hidaway Resort

What I love about this place is the company - the owners are great ppl to talk to and very helpful in arranging tours etc. The pool is nice. The room is basic BUT they are clean (fancy rooms don't impress me much). The food at the restaurant is good because it is home cooked! Many of the food is western savoir but you can also get Filipino food as well (yummy Silog). And yes it is not on the beach which also means that it is away from the noise (and yes the town can be noisy). I highly recommend staying here. I'll be back.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. She suggested a lot of activities we can do. They have partnered with a free-dive group if you want to learn. The rooms are spacious so are the bathrooms. They have a tiny bar but limited menu. It’s a very quiet place. Although there are a few minor improvements. The shower needs a little more water pressure as opposed to the bidet that could almost clean your colon. They did not provide any toilet paper for our bathroom and the chairs and tables outside our room were not cleaned regularly as they were filled with bird poop. The outdoor chairs and tables were not regularly swept they can be filled with stuff falling from the trees so we were not able to use them. Overall it was a nice and quiet place, close to nature. You can hear the frog at night and the babbling of the brook outside.

Affordable and comfy rooms with strong AC. Guests have access to cold water in the pantry. Overall cozy and relaxed vibe. Owner was accommodating and easy to coordinate with.

If you want a perfect holiday yet a little private? So perfect!

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 1:00am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. Night view is amazing. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.
