4 months agoStayed here in march 2025 & the accommodation is basic but the location is superbly amazing, one of the best sunsets that can be seen in port Barton. The host was accommodating he even dropped us to the bus station when we checked out.

a year agoWe booked the place 4 days in advance via Airbnb for 5 nights. The booking was confirmed and paid. The owner contacted us about pickup point and promised to transfer to the bungalows. When we arrived to Port Barton the owner told us that our bungalow is occupied and she can only offer us a room in the city for that day. The room was poor and was 20$ per day cheaper than the price i paid for bungalow. The owner refused to compensate the difference or give us a chargeback for the day, saying that the price on Airbnb was cheaper than "they usualy ask". The owner put the guilt on Airbnb and though she knew 4 days in advance that the bungalow was unavailable she did not inform us. Very and very disrespectful behavior. Think twice before booking this place!

3 years agoThe spot is beautiful! Awesome place facing Port Barton's bay, at only 20 minutes walk from the centre village. The owner, Walter, is a very nice German guy who has lived there may years now and he will help you taking your luggage by car to the bungalows from the restaurant they own at only 5 minutes from the Bus Terminal. Big spacious rooms, kitchen, quiet and calm with awesome views of the sea! Totally recommend it!

a year agoWhat a fab place. Up on the hill overlooking the whole bay of Port Barton. The accommodation is like a little house, seating area downstairs, kitchenette half way up and double room upstairs. 10 min walk from end of beach Really well looked after accommodation and gardens.

7 years agoProbably the best views of Port Barton one can get. Landlord is very friendly ans helpful. The cottage itself is basic. However the gardens and balcony are incredible spots to hangout. However it is VERY isolated from the beach where the restaurants and bars are. And you definitely need a torch at night and be prepared for a 30 minute trek.
