El Nido Beach Hotel

I don’t understand why some people leave such negative reviews about this hotel. I’m truly glad I didn’t listen to them and chose to stay here. The location is absolutely perfect — one of the best in El Nido. Many guests complain about the drainage, but that’s an issue affecting the entire island, not just this hotel, so it’s unfair to blame them for something beyond their control. My stay was excellent, and I would confidently give it a 10/10. Being able to enjoy the sea view right from the balcony made the experience even more special. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal only for the easy access to the island hopping tours and the ok nightlife. You can not swim on the beach that is 5 feet from your room, it being the most swim friendly and safer beach on the whole island is a big let down. The room had an awful smell the entire time. Ceiling in the bathroom was leaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful in the beginning and the breakfast was good and simple. The last day was a total nightmare. We had a late flight and informed the staff that we would be checking out late. They said that it was no problem but would be a 300 peso an hour charge for every hour past the checkout time. We were leaving for the day on our last day and informed them that we would be coming back late afternoon to shower, grab our belongings and had to the airport. They told us that they had booked someone for our room and we had to vacate, after already informing them days in advance and told that this wouldn’t be a problem. After back and forth we agreed to bring our stuff to a different room. Front desk staff went to talk to the manager and then told us that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us at all and told we we had to check out immediately.

Do NOT stay at this overpriced place. It’s no wonder they offer no refunds. It was a total dump. The room smelled awful. The floorboards were giving away in some areas. The toilet and sink didn’t drain, so if you took a dump, it was in there for your entire stay. It was basically motel quality for the price of a luxury stay. I booked three nights here and had to leave after the first night due to all these issues. I just ate the $200 loss on the other 2 nights. If you’re a foreigner and want a nice place to stay, my recommendation is to stay faaaar away from this place. I’ll attach some images of the black mold on the ceiling.

booked a non refundable 5-night stay and got nervous after reading some bad reviews. But after spending 2 nights here, I can say this place is one of the best in El Nido. The location is perfect, staff are very welcoming, and my ocean view room had everything I requested. Room service cleans and refreshes the room daily. El Nido hotels aren’t meant to be fancy like cities, but compared to others, this one is a great choice as its in the main strip and everything is within walk distance like restaurant, laundry services etc

The biggest issue with the room is the bed is like sleeping on the floor. But the biggest issue with the hotel is the noise. You have motorcycles screaming back and forth all night long. Loud drunk morons yelling and fighting every night. If you stay here don't expect to sleep.
