Dolarog Beach Resort

First of all, this location is ideal for 3 nights. So you can consider this as a relaxing stay after a busy downtown stay in El Nido center with island tours completed. The location is isolated from the crowd in a cul du sac part of the island and provides serenity and relaxation at the beachfront location. The major issue is that transportation as you can get to McDonalds from the hotel either by walking to Vanilla Beach or book a golf cart from the hotel. The beach is really nice and has two sides for walking. One side goes to Vanilla Beach in 15 to 20 minutes and the other goes to south to a corner of the island. Do not stay in Garden view rooms, very bad, they should not offer these rooms. Either stay in cabins or front villas. The downside is that the accessibility that it is not easy to leave the premise and come back everyday. You need to book a golf cart every time you want to go to the center. You could Alternatively walk to Vanilla beach and from McDonalds take a tricycle. But the tides go high after 7pm so coming back from Vanilla beach walking is not something I can recommend. Island tours: we did book one tour Tour C in a place in Vanilla Beach. But to do tours you can stay in El Nido downtown. It is jot easy to do it from the Dalorag Resort. Service at the resort is very good, rooms are cleaned everyday and bathroom is clean and cabins have hot tubs. The beds are comfortable. Downside: You need to wait 15 minutes for hot water. Mosquito: You need to ask a mosquito net for the room, they don't provide by default. Food: The restaurant is nice, staff is friendly. Although, a few occasions they confused the order. You need to be very specific and ask them to repeat your order. They have amazing olive oil, they very nice to bring me some every meal, much appreciated. The salt and pepper we had to ask every time for breakfast and dinner. They can provide most of things needed, you just need to ask. I asked for mosquito repellent, the next day was ready. We did kayaking for 2 hours it is recommended.

We went to eat, use the pool (for a fee), and watch the sunset. But we ate as soon as we arrived, and it was so awful that we lost all appetite and decided to leave without using the pool or watching the sunset. They took us to McDonald's in a golf cart (for 350 PHP), which is the closest place to catch transport back to our hotel. The food there is terrible. It's inedible. I left everything, and they didn't even ask if I liked it or not. The worst place we've eaten in the Philippines.

My girlfriend and I stayed here at the end of February and absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful, with an amazing view, and the room was great too. If you’re looking for a romantic spot to stay, this is the perfect choice. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and welcoming. We arrived pretty late, around 10 PM, because our flight got delayed, but it wasn’t a problem at all. They picked us up at McDonald’s and even offered us dinner, even though the restaurant had already closed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dream Stay by the Sea – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this hotel was magical. From the warm check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their politeness and genuine care made all the difference. Every request was met with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests. Our room was spacious, airy, and impeccably clean, with large windows offering stunning views. The calming sound of the waves and the lush greenery surrounding the property created a relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. This hotel offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature, making it ideal for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and rejuvenation. Would like to return!

We love the privacy of this beautiful place and away from the hectic town and busy roads. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with a bathtub. The rooms should be updated. We love that our villa that are steps away from the beach. It's quite tranquil, gorgeous and with amazing views.
