Costa Palawan Resort

Overall, I had a pleansant stay, because what the resort offers aligned with my purpose of staying there - which was a relaxing stay, no 20k steps, just eat, chill at the pool, take a nap, eat, swim at the pool again then sleep. It is not suitable for people who likes to swim or go sunbathing by the beach, because the "private beach" is only for scenery and not for beach-related activities. The breakfast was buffet-style, and based on my 5D4N stay starting on a Wednesday to Sunday, I saw that the food choices was getting better as we approached the weekend. Probably because weekdays are not crowded while weekends there were a lot of guests, probably that's why. The room was huge and very clean. The entire resort was actually huge and well-maintained The location is not in the city centre, it is quite secluded, which makes it ideal if you're looking for a quiet retreat, away from the crowd and hustle and bustle of the city life. However it is stilll possible to go anywhere by hailling motorcycle or taxi or joining group tours. In terms of food, since it is far from the city, I ate mostly at the resort restaurant, and on my last night was when I found out Grab Food is available, lol. That would have been good to know on Day 1. So eventhough the location is secluded, you can still order via grab food. I enjoyed the pool a lot, because most of the guests are on tours everyday and just come back in the evening or late afternoon, so I have the pool almost to myself during my stay, which was great for me. But the best part of my stay was the staffs. They were very nice, polite, helpful and always ready to attend to guests. Excellent customer service. So, again, because my purpose for this travel aligns with what the resort has to offer, I had a pleasant stay. And for those factors that I feel they lack a bit like food choices and location, there were alternative options. But nothing ruins a vacation than rude staffs and dirty facilities, which I am so glad, this resort was exactly the opposite.

The staff are super pleasant and caters to every single need. Location is ideal for a quiet and stress free stay as it’s off the beaten path. Free shuttle to and from airport which is wonderful. On site restaurant prepares a great variety of tasty meals and oh did I mention the free breakfast. It’s not your customary continental breakfast but a full blown feed feast

It looks better than it is . Hot water is not that good . Beds were way to soft for me and the pillows . Staff are very friendly . 2 pools . One closes at 6 and the bigger one at 9 . Bar closes at 930 or 10 . Absolutely zero beach . It's all like marsh . For the price we should have gotten a lot more . The free breakfast was very average at best .

Great place, staff is very nice. Food is good, breakfast basic but ok. Location is by the sea, but it's nit possible to swim. There are 2 pools though. The hotel can organize excursions for you. They have free shuttles to the airport. We enjoyed our stay!

Love the amenities but not the location. It’s kinda far from the city proper that hailing tricycle makes it kinda costly. Better if you have a service vehicle for easier tour. Another thing i loved here was their sunrise viewing deck. Plus their free bike.
