Capones Vista Beach Resort

We had our summer vacay here 2025, all in all it was a great stay. Although our main objective here is the Capones and Camara Island hopping (which were both unavailable during our stay due to balikatan), we still do the Anawangin island hop which is a great experience. We recommend doing the hop with friends so you can split the boat fee. Service The inhouse resto serves great food but a bit pricey. No extra charge if you want to deliver the order straight to the room. Reception is also good with their friendly staffs. Location A bit unfriendly for commuters. We recommend to bring your own vehicle or if you want to commute there's a tricycle in the town proper. (Tip: if you're going for commute, they also have contacts for trike drivers pabalik sa bayan). Pool and Beach Their pools were great, the beach is a bit steep (literally) but if you love big waves you will enjoy it. Is not white sand but beach is scenic with a great sunset view.

Nice view, nice rooms. The only down side is, it is written in the rules that pool area is off limits after 10pm and silence is supposed to be observed but it did not happen because there is this one group that is so loud in the pool at almost 2am. Our room is beside the pool btw. But overall it is nice and we will come back again!

So while the location is amazing with boat services set up in the main office for the island hopping (which is highly recommended) the location itself looks pretty nice as well there are a few things to consider. First the food is expensive and pretty mid, second at nighttime there is an infestation of termites that attack you, and 3rd water pressure is extremely low and slow. Overall despite this it’s still amazingly placed and has decent services.

10/10 Experience at Capones Resort! Our recent stay at Capones Resort was absolutely amazing! The staff, especially those in the kitchen, were incredibly accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was spotless—definitely a plus! The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Directly in front of Capones Island. We loved staying here, especially our little ones. The food is good, the views were good, and the rooms were clean. It seemed like we were the only ones at the resort during our stay, which was nice. The beach is rocky but the waves were strong, and not a lot of people at the beach. A good find 🫶
