Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa

Great experience. Booked on a weekday and it was still pretty lively and you can definitely relax. Not too far from the major town and shops. Beach is amazing, Pool is okay. You can tell the room is somewhat dated and old but it’s great for its price. Security deposit is abit too high (2,000 php) but its refundable so its okay. Food is costly but that’s normal since you need to drive to the closest stores or restaurants outside the resort. Just bring your own food. Breakfast buffet is good. Checkout process is quite long though. Overall, its a good stay for the price and the location.

We stayed at Canyon Cove this October 2025, and overall, it was a relaxing getaway. The place still has that nice beach view and calm atmosphere perfect for family bonding. The pool area was clean and spacious, and the lifeguards were attentive, which made swimming with kids feel safe and enjoyable. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a good view of the sea. Basic amenities were available, and the staff were polite and accommodating to our requests. Breakfast was decent, though the food selection could use a bit more variety. The beach itself was clean and peaceful during our stay, ideal for morning walks or watching the sunset. Canyon Cove remains a good choice for a short weekend escape from the city—simple, relaxing, and family-friendly.

Stayed on family room. Room is fully equipped and is very spacious for 4 adults. The building is a bit dated but room is very decent. The amenities are good. Food is so so - pwede na. :) Overall sulit ang binayad!

Staff are cleaning/repairing the sewers during our stay on a weekend. Resulting to unpleasant odor near our rooms. Checking in and checking out takes too long. Lines are long. A lot of room for improvement. Decent and spacious room. Buffet foods are acceptable but far from good. Good and decent view.

i first visited canyon cove in 2012. going back now a decade after, i noticed on the outside how it aged. just on the outside because we only booked a day tour, which i suggest availing via klook (499) because the rates onsite are more expensive (it was 699 for cash and 599 for cards when we went). we went on a weekend, so i was expecting a crowd. to my surprise, there aren’t a lot of people — maybe because it was december? by noon, we got a nice spot at the beachfront. outside food and drinks are not allowed, but we got to bring our tumblers inside. the rice meals at the japanese food stall were overpriced, at least the taste and the portion made up for it. the ate who roamed and offered their pizza was really friendly, and yes the pizza is good + loved the hot sauce that tasted a bit smokey. you can also opt to have lunch outside and then get back. the beach was clean. there’s just a lot of shells by the shore. we went crystal kayaking for a fair price and got to see corals. there’s a shower & locker room for the day pass goers. the shower room needs maintenance though — a lot of the doors couldn’t be locked, some stalls are too dark, and shower handles are missing. the water pressure is also too low, the shower stops when a lot of them are in use. same goes for the comfort rooms. anyway, we had a fun day. the view is nice, as it’s always been. canyon cove needs to get an overhaul.
