Cabang Campsite

If you are uncomplicated and flexible, then you've come to the right place. A stay on the island is an unforgettable experience. You are connected with nature (but not with the internet, it's perfect for an internet detox), can snorkel, admire animals and drink and eat coconuts as much as you want. For other foods you have to go by boat to the other resort, where you are being taken. Samy and Rijil are always very helpful and look after you well. We can highly recommend it for adventure seekers!

We came by kayak and swimming from the beach next to Cabang to visit the 2 tourist that are guests there. The minute we arrived we were told that it is private property and then the owner came and started to shout and was very unpleasant and rude, that we must get out of there. We tried to talk with him. He yelled and was violent and aggressive. We are a family with kids, he didn't let us even to rest. It's O.K. to tell us to leave but there is a way to deal with people. Later we understood that it wasn't the first time that he acts that way...

We’re four Aussies who came to Cabang Campsite as travellers and left feeling like mates. This place is something truly special, and a huge part of that is Sammy, the owner and absolute legend behind it all. From the moment we arrived, Sammy made us feel completely at home. Nothing was forced, nothing was staged — just genuine hospitality, good energy, and unforgettable experiences. He took us snorkelling in crystal-clear waters, went fishing with the locals, and somehow turned every night into one we’ll be talking about for years. The evenings were our favourite: rum-filled nights under the stars, plenty of laughs, deep chats, and stories shared like we’d known each other forever. It wasn’t just a campsite — it was an experience, a connection, and a reminder of why we travel in the first place. Cabang Campsite is raw, real, and beautiful, but Sammy is the heart of it. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep — if you want adventure, authenticity, and memories that stick — this is it. We’ll be back. No doubt about it. 🇦🇺🍹🐠🎣

An incredible experience on a wonderful island. We spent 3 nights and 4 unforgettable days, away from everything and everyone. The host was truly welcoming and pleasant, allowing us to fully experience the island, thanks in part to the boat trips he generously offered. Guests also have free use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. I recommend it to anyone who loves this kind of thing! 10/10 experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See you soon, Samy 🤗
