5 months ago❤️⭐❤️ what an absolute gem of a place! So beautiful, spacious clean and comfortable. The resort design is pretty spectacular. Natural beauty envelopes you and the kind and caring staff are genuinely hospitable and endeavour to make your stay one of the highlights of your travels. Well worth at least 3nts to fully relax into jungle and country life. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏼 Stu 🇬🇧✌🏼

8 months agoWhat a wonderful retreat! There's a beautiful jungle walk on site which was very accessible for our family and a real treat for us as we have young children. Excellent rainwater pool and the restaurant was really good - I had one of my favourite meals in the Philippines here. The receptionist was very helpful as, on arrival, she immediately booked in an evening firefly tour for that night and a day of snorkelling the following day on a private boat with our own chef who made us lunch! Snorkelling was superb, giant clams and beautiful coral and so many fish. Private cars/transfers made our excursions seamless. Thank you!

11 months agoOur family had a wonderful time at Atremaru resort. The rooms are magnificent with open, airy space between the tree tops and all buildings are handcrafted so beautifully and aesthetically. First and foremost the personal is wonderful. My daughter forgot her jewellery case and they kept it safe for 5 days and after that send it all the way to Port Barton. Is is also placed in a good distance to the underground river with beautiful landscapes all around - including a lovely beach if you are in for a 20 minutes walk.

a month agoA fantastic eco lodge with huge rooms and balconies amidst the jungle. Great as a birdwatcher as there are many species to be seen.

7 months agoWe left day earlier despite having paid for another night. The views are stunning, but: - last order for dinner is 730pm - restaurant and bar closes at 9pm - menu very western (pizza, pasta, fish and chips, but I found a chicken curry) - no white wine by the glass - no coffees other than Americano - one towel per person - no shallow end in swimming pool, everywhere c 6 foot/1m80 - walk to private beach was supposedly 40 mins to and 80 mins back; it was so steep and slippery that after a few near falls I went back after 15 minutes. - we booked two nights two weeks in advance. When we looked up the price when we arrived, it was nearly 40% cheaper, even versus our non-refundable rate! - there was only one other couple - it is in the middle of nowhere, but they don’t serve lunch. Only snacks So we left the next morning, despite having paid for another night. Because it is in the middle of nowhere, a private cab to anywhere is not cheap either. Staff is friendly, but unfortunately the resort is not what it is marketed at.
