AS Ilaya Resort and Events Place

The advertisement in the app was far from what you will expect when you get there. I find a lot lacking. There is no security guard, no lobby for assistance we were just met by a caretaker and was provided a random room. There is a few parking space but no one assisted us so its more of do it your own even when we went outside to eat we had to open the gates and closed it by ourselves. The bath has a heater but not working not the typical wow clean but tidy enough. The toilet and lavatory has stains and looks old. The room was more of an Inn type not a resort type of hotel. What I don't like is there is no double lock, so around 8pm someone opened the door while we were inside and did not even knock, for me its a violation of our privacy. It means they don't even know what guest is staying on which rooms for them to make a mistake of opening a door of a room already taken. Price was at 3800+ compared to other hotels we stayed which has better ammenities and nicer/cleaner rooms. There is no wifi, no cable tv available, no customer service to reach out, one towel available for 2 persons, no toiletries provided. No water or coffee available for beverage in the room, no refrigerator or cabinets or to hang your cloths. There is much to improve on the room to provide better service. Thus I would give them a 2 star. My rating is based on the expectations and the pricing they provided which was not met. I hope they improve to better serve their guests.

Spent a few days just doing nothing.
