Anilao Scuba Dive Center ASDC

We had such a great time diving with Anilao Scuba Dive Center. It’s a small, super cute family-run center right by the water — very well organized, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Everything felt easy, relaxed, and genuinely pleasant. A huge thank you to the whole team for their kindness and hospitality. We really had a wonderful time with you. Highly recommended!

Even the name of this dive shop was created by my late father, Jake (real name Sang-Jun Han). He and our family built this place with years of sacrifice, love, and hard work. After his passing, it was taken away by someone we once trusted, leaving us only with pain and betrayal. Visitors should know: this is not truly her shop. Its very foundation — even its name — came from my father’s blood, sweat, and dreams.

If you are a looking for a budget family atmosphere with great guides that take dive site requests seriously, consider ASDC! They have the most competitive dive package price that we could find in the area. The staff and repeat guests were extremely friendly. When talked to they talked with us at length, invited us to meals, and made us feel like family. Lots of little kids playing and great conversations. This was the highlight of the center for us. Thank you Oliver, Freddie, Shala, Gats/Regina, the Servanias, and so many more! Dive sites were fun and interesting and the foliose coral fields at the Monte Carlo reef were incredible (our favorite). Every site we requested that was available, they made an effort to see. Only qualms were that tank fills were sometimes low (2700-2800 instead of 3000 Psi) and that the rooms/bathrooms were a bit dirtier than we hoped for the price. Overall, the personally catered dive site selection and friendly staff+home environment that made us feel like family was worth it.

Great experience with Anilao Scuba Dive Center over three dives. From the start, everything was smooth—they picked us up directly by boat from our hotel beach, and we were ready to go. Our dive masters, Shala and Freddy, were both relaxed and professional, creating a chill vibe throughout. The first day featured easier dives; they brought us to more areas with nudibranchs, turtles, and even an underwater coffee shop. The boat is basic but functional—easy to get in and out of—and the team provided towels, water, coffee, and snacks between dives. Equipment was in good shape; while they don’t provide dive computers, they monitored all safety aspects closely. Communication with Gina for booking was quick and easy.
