a week agoWe had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are clean, modern, and well equipped. The entire property is beautifully designed and well maintained. The massage was perfect and definitely a highlight. The service was consistently friendly, and the staff were very helpful and attentive! The beach is clean, quiet, and truly beautiful. One small suggestion for improvement: it would be great to see more vegetarian options on the menu (main courses). Overall, a very relaxing place that we would happily return to.

3 weeks agoOverpriced and overhyped. Not ideal for a solo traveller. I went alone and never I have felt more ignored as a customer than here. I availed the day tour which cost 1,500 pesos. I heard online it was 1,000 but the staff told me otherwise. Since I am willing to spend half of my day here, I paid the said amount. Just to set your expectations, the beach beds cost separately from your day tour fee (consumable). But you can use the bean bag for free. I laid on my bean bag and asked for the menu but it never came. I asked another staff and waited but still the same. So I had to approach the cashier to take my order. An iced latte. It took more than 30 minutes for that iced latte to come. And same with the menu, I had to follow it up with the staffs. It was a good iced latte though. An hour & a half in, I decided to get food. I asked another staff for the menu and it never came. AGAIN. So same thing, I approached the cashier and ordered there. Since I am not enjoying my stay anymore, I asked it for to-go. What I experienced was totally not worth the amount I spent. I am gutted and disappointed.

a week agoAbsolute gem of a find! Pristine waters and powder white sand beaches. We went during peak season and it was completely serene still. The hotel and beach club are top notch. Great service and amenities. It has a beachfront pool which none of the other resorts have in el nido unless you want to go to the private islands. But in my opinion, Nacpan is the best base to stay at when travelling to el nido. You have the most stunning beach almost to yourself and the islands are just a boat ride away. You're also close enough to el nido town if you wanna check it out, but it's not really my cup of tea. I'd choose nacpan every time and especially Angkla. Thanks for taking care of us!

a month agoWe cannot recommend this resort enough!!! We stayed here for 5 nights to end our honeymoon and it truly has been an amazing experience. The staff is incredible, helpful and kind. Charles was amazing on our private boat trip, would highly recommend doing the island hopping. The rooms are stunning, the food so delicious and please try the mango shake. We were hit by a really brutal typhoon when we were there and everyone made us feel safe and looked after. Thank you so so so much Angkla team!! 🤍🤍🤍

a month agoWow - what a beautiful and welcoming place! We stayed three nights. Even after a huge typhoon had just passed through, this place was peaceful, friendly and fantastic to relax in. The staff are so helpful and lovely. The restaurant offers delicious foods and drinks. The beach is stunning, and there’s two pools - one right by the beach - to relax in. I had a great massage and there’s a handy little gym (treadmills and plenty of free weights) for guests too. I had an upstairs room that was stunning - high ceilings, big balcony, comfy bed. I notice a few people complaining about the road to this place. Yes it’s a bit bumpy, but they pick you up and drop you off from anywhere, in a 4x4. And once you’re at the hotel, you are in a perfectly luxurious cocoon of comfort. A few bumps on a very short journey should not deter you AT ALL!
