The booking was quick, they answered immediately and it was a day ahead of my target day of stay. We booked a Family room for 6 pax, it was clean with towels, toiletries and bottled water. Breakfast is served on time it just that I think its pre cooked. The corn beef with hash I ordered felt greasy with beef tallow solidifying.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Since it’s the lean season for beaches, there were no noisy crowds, just relaxing, chill vibes with family.
We did not get get the room we booked and almost had No Room when we arrived last Apr18, 2025. Our room was supposed to be the PREMIER FAMILY ROOM which was 10800/night. I booked and paid the 30% of the total amnt last Feb. 26, 2025 to secure the dates apr18-20,2025. When we arrived, they didn't find my name on the guest list. Luckily, I saved my convo with the person from the booking office (michelle from manila which I didn't know). it should have been communicated to the people at the resort who we're physically there, but instead it was NOT, which is a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. But the lady who attended to the problem told me "nagawan daw ng paraan". She even said that the room they're giving us is much bigger than the premier one, which is still not an excuse. Another bad observation, the two rooms beside us had a hanging pole for wet clothes outside the room. I assumed that all rooms had one, so I asked the receptionist (guy) if we could request one also but he answered they don't have that kind of amenity. I thought that the guests owned it, so I didn't give it any mind. But later that day whenn the guests checked out, hindi naman nila dinala so it means dun sya talaga sa resort and it belonged to them. Hindi ko na lang din pinalaki, pinalampas ko na lang ulit kc we we're there to relax and enjoy. Anyways, our stay was okay since malamig naman ang room and the beach was okay. I just hope that they come up with a better communication specially to advance bookings like ours. The receptionist even told me " buti po hindi niyo kame tinarayan" I just replied that I'm already at the verge of getting angry but since they made sure we have a room to stay, I told her I don't want to stress myself. I did not get mad because she made sure we have a room and that's the ONLY reason. But that's not an excuse for their negligence and poor communication. They are lucky they didn't give this problem to a hot tempered guest. WE'LL NOT BE GOING BACK to this resort and NOT recommend it because of this experience.
Staff was quite friendly and attentive.
A little bit run down,, but clean,,. No visible rats or cockroaches..
located directly on highly polluted creek,, that filters directly into beach area. Overall it was a nice stay but overpriced.
Overall, the resort runs without a present manager, and the staff are very comfortable in their jobs. The place has a lot of potential to have that private and somehow exclusive feel.
The staff are very casual and warm, and they try to serve the best they can, but they need to brush up on more professional decorum fitting a private resort. Training is needed.
They have few food and drinks selection, and the staff admitted they did not request supply replenishment. They also said they would adjust so that they have what we liked on the menu the next day.
Food presentation needs work. Plated breakfast is included in the room charge.
